Well I missed the wedding episode last week. I got all thrown off since Below Deck SY wasn’t on, so I assumed, I guess the new Summer House wasn’t on either.
I’m catching up on the Reunion now, only 5 days later! Sorry!
They’re all arriving, and we have the infamous/famous, depending on how you look at it “Lexi” arrving with Andrea, for moral support, I assume. I did read they had gotten back together. Perhaps Lexi wants to be a Summer House cast member this summer? She’s really pretty. She’s really tall. She’s really blonde. Hope she’s not using Andrea for reality TV fame. I think she’s a model.
Ladies are in hair and makeup. There was some Twitter chatter last week about Danielle’s “Wet n Wild” makeup look, and I have to agree. Her makeup was really bad. Bravo needs to get better makeup people for these folks. Are they trying to cut corners or what? Are we pinching pennies at Bravo? Maybe Andy needs a bigger place, some more cars, ties and vacays? Some of them don’t seem to do their makeup in accordance with being on camera and under harsh lights. Also the eye shadow is clashing with her lipstick.
Ciara’s dress seems like “a lot.” A little too much for the event. I wish Amanda wasn’t in such a drab color, or at least had a “pop” with a colorful earring or something. But her jump suit is hot! Kyle told her she looks “gorgeous.” So they seem to be getting along — so far. She looks a little thinner.

Andrea enters the guys’ chambers with Lexi, and she immediately looks over at the cameras. I’m wondering if she’s not back with Andrea for the fifteen minutes, and/or possibly to secure a reality TV position. We’ll see. It is strange how after filming, she suddenly had this extreme change of heart, since Andrea cried for three months how she “wanted nothing to do with him.” and had him blocked from everything. Now all of a sudden – what happened ?
Carl and Lindsay are official, as we knew.
Amanda is not taking Kyle’s name because she knows they will not be married for long. Probably gonna dump his ass as soon as Loverboy starts making a large profit. I think she wants to pop out a baby to seal the deal. She’ll need to breast feed, if you get my drift, if you pay attention to the news.
I was surprised to hear that only 25% of women with babies breast feed. I would have thought it would be higher. There has been a big breast feeding push that started in the 90’s. Maybe it’s “out” now again, like it was in the 70’s – 80’s? That’s kind of not my world anymore so I really don’t know.
Andy showed up at the Summer House on Labor Day weekend. I have a feeling that he is kind of OCD. He seems completely disgusted at the environment in which they live. Ciara and Paige’s room is absolutely embarrassing. It’s not cute, it’s gross. Andy says “it’s disgusting!” I am not OCD, and I think it’s repulsive to keep your room like that. They’re both so lazy. It’s not hard to pick up after yourself. Wow that’s such a Mom thing to say.
A viewer asks Carl if it’s frustrating how Paige and Ciara are lazy and do nothing to contribute to the household. Paige gets asked to rebutt, and she claims she “has helped set up and clean up for every single party that they had.” No Paige. You didn’t. Ciara also echos that, and claims that she’s been helpful, but was not “not keeping score.” Well Ciara, newsflash, we don’t need to keep a scorecard,because of those pesky dudes with cameras walking around. It’s disappointing to me that theycannot own their laziness, and say something like, “watching it back I hear where you’re coming from, and will try to do better this year.” Boom. Done. Would be so much more respectable andadult-like, then denying it. The looks on the others’ faces and Kyle’s comment, tells you they are being mocked and making themselves look foolish and stupid. Sorry ladies. But, hey, you’re pretty! I honestly think that’s why they act so entitled in the house.
Ciara is done with being an RN after only a few years, because she’s lazy. Bottom fucking line. And I don’t want to hear anything else about it. I feel like it will be coming up at some point, and we will be forced to sit and listen to “I’m tired of watching people die.” No Ciara. You’re just plain tired. Tired from doing absolutely nothing. Couldn’t even help in the house on the weekends when you have NO JOB and do nothing all week long. No, wait, she was very busy “decorating” her apartment. Please. Girl, get some motivation and get a job. And if you can’t do that, at least drag your ass out of bed in the morning and pick up some trash in the yard! Same with Paige! Own it!
Kyle apparently had the “hardest boner he’s ever had” hearing about Lindsay talk about her sexual relations with another woman. Amanda is asked if that was bothersome to her. Amanda very maturely and adult-like laughs it off! Proud of her! (Maybe it turned him on, but I don’t think he meant it literally…) Did we not ever hear of sarcasm, and joking?
Lindsay and the ‘HotHubs’ summer to overcompensate in order to deal with her miscarriage is the new topic. I like her dress. Instead of getting “attached to one person.” she says that she wanted to “date as many people as possible?” That sounds like a bad excuse for just acting out. Does she not have a happy medium?
“What type of brothel are we running here?” commentary from Paige was sort of funny, you have to admit. Talking all night about fucking Austen, then bringing home a stranger and fucking him? Not a good look. And not because she’s a girl. Also not a good look for a guy. Makes a guy OR a girl look rather shallow and desperate.
Lindsay does an exaggerated over compensating type smile and laugh as the footage rolls showing her many interactions with many different dude. She does look slightly embarrassed of her behavior.
They bring up the annoying Luke/Lindsay “double standard” comparison, trying to point out that you know, it’s okay for Luke to be playing the field, being a dude, and dating a few different women, but not Lindsay. So let’s break that down. First of all, Luke brought one girl to the house the whole summer for his “prom date.” ONE. No one asked Luke about his “hook-ups” all summer because he wasn’t showcasing and advertising them on the show every weekend!
He did admit he was dating others, when pressed a the dinner from hell, but only one female that came to the house. And he wasn’t bragging non-stop about dating and banging multiple women. When he was being sort of a “fuck boy” in past seasons, he was absolutely held accountable. I recall him getting bitched at by the ladies, A LOT, and Kyle got really heated about it on an episode.
And then we have Lindsay, bringing home a random dude and fucking him, after pathetically hanging all over, and making out with Austen all evening long, bringing home another randy, screaming at him like a lunatic for not catering to her dumb ass. How does this compare to Luke saying at dinner when asked “yeah I’ve dated a few women this summer…” I’ll answer my own question – it doesn’t! If the above behaviors were in reverse and done by Luke, or any of the other dudes in the house, with women, they would have also been bitching! But Luke was not behaving this way. (this season) Drop it!!
As usual, here’s Danielle, who needs to stay out of Lindsay’s arguments, but can’t. It’s absurd the way she speaks on Lindsay’s behalf constantly and gets involved in her drama when it has NOTHING to do with her.
She calls Paige’s comments “judgmental.” Maybe they were! But like she likes to brag, and if she wants to “puts herself out there!” then she should be able to handle the negativity and commentary you may receive. Like that Ashley hoe on Below Deck SY, if you’re following that.
Yes Trashley on BDSY, is a young girl, she’s single, she can hook up with whomever on TV, but if you’re “putting yourself out there” and doing this on TV, then be ready for judgment and comment and get the fuck over it! Long story short – Danielle shut up ! She even looks like she’s trying to be Lindsay for chrissakes, wearing the same color! She’s like one of the Plastics following Regina George around. Does Lindsay pay her? Danielle needs to realize this isn’t a good look. And there is NO WAY Lindsay would go to bat for her like this, or anyone else, ever.
I know Paige has become unpopular this season, and she’s not my fave either, but guys, she does have a point. Lindsay was all “I love Austen!” and then bringing home a random guy and banging him the same night. It’s just not a good look. It would also be not a good look if a guy did it with a girl. It further underscores how she pretended to be into Austen just to get back at Ciara. It was blaringly clear at Kyle and Amanda’s wedding when she was explaining her behavior to Carl. And then the way she was so rude to Austen when he approached her and Carl. Also more sort of “proof” she didn’t/doesn’t/never gave two shits about the dude. And he was merely ******
Danielle’s expression as Paige is outlining this, looks to be as if she is thinking that Paige has a point, but can’t DARE say that out loud.
I think that Lindsay is best just owning that was trashy, blame the alcohol, and move on. Much like Ciara and Paige need to own their entitlement and laziness.
I think Carl is coming at Paige because Lindsay doesn’t like her. So I guess it makes sense, but not really because why is he getting involved in girl drama. There was A LOT of backlash on social media about Paige’s comment to Carl: “What did YOU do this summer?” People were upset she would have the nerve to say that when newly sober Carl – managed to maintain his sobriety in a house full of drunks for 2 months, jumped out of bed at 6am and worked out – every single morning, without fail, (while Paige laid in bed until 10 or 11, then went back to bed after eating, having coffee and pooping) organized, set up and cleaned up multiple parties. Talked Kyle off of a ledge every other day… the total and complete nerve of Paige to say that? She should be ashamed. I wish Carl would have rattled all of that off to her.
Back to the brothel comment- and I think Paige does a good job of communicating here and explaining it. She starts off by admitting “brothel” was a harsh word. Again, just like Kyle’s boner over Lindsay dipping in the lady pond, it wasn’t literal.
She goes on to explain Lindsay’s supposed love and admiration for Austen, then proceeding to bring another dude home, it was confusing. Luke interjects (why when Lindsay gets pinned in a corner about explaining herself, does someone always answer on her behalf and lets her off the hook?) What does she have on these people? Luke, who no one asked, says Paige was doing the same with Craig and Andrea. Well not really. She was owning that she was juggling the two of them, and she wasn’t acting so skanky about it. She wasn’t sleeping with Andrea in the house. Lindsay points out that she hadn’t slept with Austen either. But she was throwing herself at him incessantly all night, and jumping up and straddling him, playing tongue hockey in public with him.
Paige was a little more reserved when she has the Andrea and Craig confusion. So it makes a big difference. And Lindsay needs to speak for herself. She’s a big girl! She’s part of the mid-30’s “older” crowd in the house. She doesn’t need help. This is annoying AF.
Whatever – moving on.
Carl and his awesome new sobriety is much more interesting. His mom seems so sweet. I feel like he wasn’t really at all into that Mackenzie chick. Which is fine, but I wish he just would have said that. I think the one year sober thing for starting a new relationship is more like a gauge. It doesn’t need to be exactly 360 days. It seems that Carl was pretty steady and ready to enter into a relationship last summer, but that chick just wasn’t the one. I’m not sure Lindsay is the one, but it’s been around six months and they’re together so we’ll see. I am happy for them both. I love newly sober Carl, and Lindsay is not a terrible person, I just don’t think she’s a particularly nice and genuine person.
Kyle brags about Carl and how he’s crushing his Loverboy position, and no longer needs babysat. I think we were nervously all thinking that the tables have turned, that now Carl is babysitting Kyle, when Andy says it. Kyle nerv laughs, but it’s kind of true. You can sort of see that Andy doesn’t really care for Kyle. I didn’t notice it until I saw people were saying that on social media, after he was on WWHL, and I started paying more attention.
After these accolades, Carl brings up to Paige her shitty “what did you do all summer comment?” Paige defends it by saying she was defending herself with Carl’s “not bringing a boyfriend to the house.” comment. That’s not really the point he was making at all. I think he was pointing out Lindsay’s being more of an open book than Paige about her relationships. There’s a little more back and forth where Carl addresses with Paige, how that comment was a low blow when he actually did a very important and profound thing all summer.
Paige begins to look and feel really awkward and is turning completely away from Lindsay and facing Andy. Andy notices this, and Paige says no one “on this side” is well, “on her side.” She doesn’t want to look Lindsay in the eye because she feels uncomfortable, and goes on to explain the “divide” in the group that a lot of viewers, I was reading, think that Paige is actually responsible for.
Paige does, again a good job at communicating that Lindsay and Danielle are somewhat unapproachable (Lindsay more so than Danielle, but Danielle is so far up Lindsay’s ass that they’re sort of the same person) when she was new in the house and gravitated more toward Amanda, since Amanda (while immature as we all saw play out this season) is an open and genuine girl, that most people get along with, (except Kyle) and wouldn’t want to see anyone being left out. So was Danielle really on before Paige? I thought it was the opposite actually. Paige goes on to explain Lindsay (and Danielle) being very hard to approach, and points out as new girls entered the house, they gravitated toward her and Amanda.
That statement seems fair.
Ciara gets put on the spot about claiming she “wanted to fuck Carl so fucking bad” and he has a huge man part. She denies she said that, but they roll the tape. Seven inches? Yeah, that’s big.
When did Luke and Ciara have a thing? On Winter House? I Didn’t really watch that. I remember Luke liking Ciara on Summer house her first season, but was put off by the drama with him and Hannah. And if she wanted to cultivate friendships with the other girls, it probably wasn’t going to be a smart idea to hook up with Luke, she realized.
I saw online a few weeks ago, that Robert is working in Aspen now, and never took the Charleston job.
Guys, Danielle’s makeup IS really bad. She should have done it herself. The lipstick looks cheap and is a horrible color. The colors do not mesh at all -The eyeliner is bad. It’s all bad!
Mya says Oliver is “not her boyfriend” but in her life. Awww thought they were still together, since they were on WWHL recently. Disappointed. I thought they were so cute! Oh well. Is there possible a thing with her and Luke?
I’m going to be curious to see how Carl can deal with Lindsay’s drama and high maintenance issues?
And by high maintenance, I mean she needs a lot of attention. A LOT of attention. She reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. Holy bloody hell if I wasn’t giving him my full attention every second of every day, even while at work, or needing to tend to household duties, he went off like a crazy person. Cases in point: That phone call to the dude she had just met two weeks prior. The way she went nuts on the dude she was dating two years ago for not paying enough attention to her. The way she treated him because her birthday dinner wasn’t good enough for her. (it was in 2020 when restaurants were closed, so he ordered food from the restaurant, where they had their first date, set up romantic dinner outside, and got her a thoughtful gift)
Ciara and Danielle go back and forth about her and Robert’s relationship and some arguments that took place in the house. Danielle says Ciara seemed to never want to be friends with her and yadda yadda.
Ciara calls bullshit on the “trying to get to know her” comment from Danielle because she never really “tried to get to know her.”
Why do they always constantly stroke and massage their fake hair? Is it a nervous tick? Housewives do this too. We all sometimes touch or twist our hair, I’m sure I do, but just sitting there and stroking your fake long hair incessantly is weird.
Andrea – He’s hot, he’s adorable, he’s sensitive, he cooks, he’s Italian – for real Italian, that fucking accent. He can get any girl he wants – I’m sure he can! Honestly if I were much much much much much younger, I would most likely be hunting this dude down!
Ciara, whatever we know you don’t want to be a nurse – it’s hard WORK, and we see you like to lie in bed all day and do absolutely nothing! And tired of looking at that photo of her in her nursing gear.
Why does Kyle keep doing the fucking thing with his fingers every time hooking up is brought up? Does he have some weird need to see other people fucking? Aren’t there things like porn videos for that?
Danielle and Lindsay are even in the same color I just realized. Danielle probably asked her what color she was wearing, and copied it like a high school girl would do with the “popular girl.”
Regarding this stupid fight over Austen, Lindsay, was saying things like “I want him – I’m banging him…” And when she said he’s sleeping in her room, she was smirking at saying that in front of Ciara. It was just inappropriate. It’s bothering me this girl owns NONE of her snarkiness and sneakiness towards Ciara.
Carl acknowledges that he told him not to come on the first trip that Craig made to Summer House because it looked “thirsty” to be on three shows. Well thanks Carl. That seemed strange coming from Carl. What does he care? And Southern Charm hasn’t even been on for two years. I wonder if it’s getting canceled? I keep meaning to look into that.
Do the hair and makeup people really go onto the stage during commercials and smooth their hair? This dude should be spending more time worried about Danielle’s horrible makeup than Ciara’s hair being smooth, honestly.
I’m sure no one wants to get back into the Austen drama … Lindsay pursued Austen to get back at Ciara. We all know this. I wish she would just admit it. Everyone on social media LOVED Alex’s “Honda Civic of guys” ANALOGY about Austen. Viewers were proud of him and think he earned his spot back for this year for that one! Anyway, we are discussing why it became totally a fight between Ciara and Lindsay and no one being pissed at Austen for also playing games.
I would say, if I can speak for Austen for one sec, that he of course, enjoyed the attention. He was never on Southern Charm the dude that women were pining for. Chelsea and Horrible Mean Madison walked all over him! He came off as a nice guy on SC, but kind of a pussy when it came to women. It seemed so strange to see him acting so douchey and having chicks fighting over him.
Ciara is fucking young and hot, and I don’t get why he isn’t jumping on that!
They play the Winter House flash where Austen says he has “no interest in Lindsay AT ALL” whenCiara point blank asked him if he was.
I don’t get how it can be disputed that Ciara did not interfere in anything, and deserved Lindsay’s stupid childish “payback” thing. It’s so ridiculous.
Carl is defending Lindsay of course. Carl come on, there was TOTAL strategy and a plan! And malicious intent. Lindsay threw herself at Austen. And went out of her way to flaunt it to Ciara. It was actually embarrassing for Lindsay. She’s trying to say it was all an accident.
Kyle makes a good point and asks Carl to “take the boyfriend hat off for one second” (I’m sure he’s afraid to- we’ve all seen Lindsay angry!) and look at this objectively. Lindsay talks some jibberish I did not pick myself up, I did not chase myself around… girl shut up !!!
She embarrassingly threw herself at him. Then bragged they hooked up…
Andrea even laughs at her. Everyone is laughing at her. Ciara’s point is accurate, that she wouldn’t have come on to Carl the weekend when Mackenzie came. They’re all coming at Lindsay but she deserves it, they’re right and she’s fucking lying! And you know they must all have a point because Danielle, her fucking disciple is on mute!
“I’m sorry you feel that way” IS A DICK APOLOGY. They coerce her into rewording it to
“I’m sorry I hurt your feelings” But if she was forced, and she was put on the spot to say it, it is also not a real apology. I think Ciara is thinking that, but feels like it’s time to let it go. If Lindsay doesn’t give a shit, she doesn’t give a shit. Just like you can’t fix stupid, you also can’t fix a selfish narcissistic self-serving person.
Andrea’s Italian dinner –I stand behind that he was pissed his dinner was ruined. I would have been! If I cooked a huge dinner and two chicks started fighting over a worthless dude, I would be crying too!
A viewer asks – and I am sick of talking about Lindsay- “Kyle, if Lindsay gets a free pass for being rude and not caring about anyone else because she’s Lindsay?” Kyle says arguing with Lindsay is a futile argument. She always has to be right. Ciara and Amanda call her dismissive and her tone sucks. What I am enjoying MOST about this reunion is watching Danielle’s fucking face when she knows the girls have a point about Lindsay’s behavior. Her expression is very defeated. She’s like: “I want to interject here on behalf of my bestie, but —– I got nothin!”
Danielle does get an opening the she desperately was looking for, and like ‘guilty as charged’ people do, she turns it around on Ciara, and says well you’re not approachable either! Ciara says she’s not a condescending piece of shit. (paraphrasing) Ciara points out Lindsay’s reaction was a blank stare with a slight smirk (those were my words – that’s perfect right!) when Ciara addressed her at the dinner. Mya chimes in that she would have also been offended by her reaction.
Andy asks about the wine throwing– you do have to admit – unlike Lindsay – she is owning her bad behavior. But I do think Lindsay loved every second of Ciara losing her shit. That may have even been why she sat there smirking at her at the table. To get her more riled up. Of course someone visibly upset and hurt, and is listing the reasons why she was hurt, and the person they are addressing is smirking at them is not an ideal situation. So if you have someone with a slight hot temper when provoked, yes is going to possibly lose it. As everything is with Lindsay Hubbard, it was calculated and intentional.
Did she KNOW and PLAN for Ciara to get as pissed as she did, and throw her wine at Danielle? (who should have stayed out of it!) No – did she know Ciara was getting ready to lose her shit, so she just let her keep talking and she kept looking smug and dismissive? YES !! YES YES AND YES !!!
Danielle defends getting involved by saying tha the conversation “was going nowhere”– yes, that’s true because Lindsay was barely even acknowledging that Ciara was speaking! She needs to really stop interfering with Lindsay’s fights. It’s ridiculous
Luke points out Paige instigating Ciara, which I do agree with, and I think most of the viewers agree with as well. She should not have said “just go off on this bitch.”
Paige defends herself by saying she was going her a little push to speak up since she was feeling dismissed. Okay well, “speaking up” is one thing, but “Just go off on this bitch” – different.
Dollar Store makeup Danielle wants to be super drama queen about wearing the wine, when Ciara is sitting there profusely apologizing and saying she should not have done it. How many times does she have to say it was wrong !!
I think Danielle will live. She should have stayed the hell out of it. Danielle thought she should have gotten a reach- out when the episode aired. Whatever.
And if she wants to bring “people of color” into it, as I knew she would. It’s also a bad look, Danielle for a woman of color, to be constantly going to bat for a white chick and fighting her battles for her, when she is clearly wrong, and she can speak for herself! It makes you look subservient to her, if you really want to know.
Again Ciara apologizes. Why does Ciara have to gravel and no one else seems to apologize for their behavior – Lindsay. Danielle is now trying to make herself seem traumatized over this. Am I being a bitch for saying that? She did throw a glass at her, not good. But traumatized? Dramatic right?
