So what did we all think? Was this mean girl behavior?? I think it was. When Ayan innocently (I don’t believe she did it on purpose at all) wore a couture white dress to an event where she was ordered to wear white. I guess you could argue that “it had a train – oh my GODDDD!!) but it was literally a body suit with a long cape ‘train.’ I personally did not care for it, at all. I did not think it resembled bridal attire at all. I liked Caroline’s dress a lot more, although it seemed a little young for her.
Shouldn’t Caroline have been worried, that someone would have on a dress that resembled a wedding dress?
And I honestly never heard of the bride ordering everyone to wear white to their engagement party, especially if they were also wearing white. For this reason.
Since Caroline was planning one wearing a white wedding style dress, and you would think she wanted to stand out from the guests, wouldn’t it have made more sense to ‘order’ everyone to wear black? Or ANY other color? None of it made sense.
So she had a (blonde) hair up her ass about the long cape with a ‘train’ and the fact that she had on a long blonde wig. Caroline who is just so fucking conceited, that she had herself convinced that Ayan was trying to imitate her. Why would Ayan want to imitate her?
She confronts her at her party, and yells at her about it, even spins her around to show her hair was similar to hers, I forget specificially, but I really thought it was horrible and bullying behavior. Does Caroline thinks she’s the only one that’s allowed to have blonde hair? It was also a long blonde wig, and Caroline’s hair is more of a Lob. (long bob) Also Ayan is black, and Caroline could not be any whiter. There’s that.
Ayan was in no way trying to imitate or be Caroline. It was such an insult to Ayan, an actual model, and Caroline, an Insta Influencer. I believe this did get pointed out at the reunion.
She demonstrated other Mean Girl type behavior towards Ayan in their first season, by not including her in one of her other wedding events, and telling the others only ‘important people’ were included, then ridiculing her when she learned that she was upset about it. Scolding her for calling her ‘Stanbury’ when all of the other ladies were referring to her like that, since there was another Caroline. Who often got referred to as ‘Brooks.’
I would definitely put Caroline Stanbury on my list of ‘Mean Girls.’ No question. The good news is that she more less got put in her place at the reunion.
Wonder if it’s coming back for Season 2? Filming last year began in November, perhaps they’re filming now?
