I created this a few months ago ! Wanted a spin on the traditional tequila Sunrise, since I’m not crazy about the, I thought, what can I add? more citrus, and some this and that! I think it turned out excellent. It does take some juicing of some citrus. You’ll want to plan ahead for this one, but so worth it !
I got inspired to post this when Brooks and her cousin were drinking them on Real Housewives of Dubai on the 7/6/22 episode!
Add to cocktail shaker: (These measurements will make one large or two smaller drinks, so adjust accordingly for more.)
1 – 2 oz clear tequila ( I like Jose Cuervo)
1 oz Aperol
1 oz Fresh Ruby grapefruit juice
1 oz Fresh OJ
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
Shake all in Cocktail Shaker !
Mix Sugar AND salt together on plate, rub glass with lime juice and, rub rim in mixture !
