I’m over the race thing this season – why are we doing this ? I don’t want to dig deep into it, my blog posts are supposed to be fun and light and … NOT POLITICAL, but his was never a thing before, just sayin.
Crystal love ya girl, you do seem like a lot of fun but, well a little fun — what’s with “tell me you’re THAT girl ?????” tell me you’re THAT girl ???” to Sutton. what really is the point of all of that? There are a lot of stereo typical things that are said when it comes to race. I think with the tensions now, everyone just has their guard up, and yes, things are said such as “I don’t see color, or there’s not a racial bone in my body…” it’s cliché, it’s not to be taken literally.
I think Sutton is an easy target because she comes off as weak, because she ‘s not super aggressive and mean, so sadly, I think the other ladies sometimes take advantage of this.
Crystal – if you’re attacking Sutton why are you not attacking Kyle for her call -out on the reunion about Garcelle not paying her charity donation bill? And, in my opinion, she would not have done that to the other ladies . And her reasoning, “had we not been in a bad place, I wouldn’t have done that”. I was actually very disappointed in that rationale. That lacked class have needed to been done privately, irregardless of your relationship at the time. It seemed like you could not wait to deliver that message at the reunion. If I recall correctly, it kind of came out of left field when you shared it at the reunion, in front of millions of people. Garcelle had every reason to be upset. That kind of gave me ill-mannered Ramona vibes. You really wondered why, after that, she unfollowed you ? I almost fell off my couch when you acted like that was a huge revelation. You’re better than that. Garcelle is also not in the financial position that you are either. That was just rude. And then to act surprised, just portrays how very out of touch you are with the real world, and other’s feelings.
The Bottoms Up Dinner — oh my God I was getting scared. They were kind of acting like they were at a Frat Party but I was not judging. It was Kathy’s (at 60 something years old) – first Girls’ Night ! I just thought she was really excited !
But — it turned out to be a prank! The martini’s were water! I love this Kathy Hilton (who is she again ? Just kidding ) but seriously where has she been for 10 years?? she can’t see, she can’t hear — she put – was it, ear drops in her eyes? she spilled coffee all over her shirt – she laughs at herself – love it! I hope she keeps it up. This has happened before where I LOVE someone the first season, or first few episodes, then the crazy mean girl starts coming out!
So now we have hurt feelings over the texting about the practical joke. Sutton come ON girl, this is NOT your first rodeo (it’s your second). You know how this works ! Things are done and said on purpose to stir the pot and create drama. I think I’m losing brain cells over the on-going argument over the water-martinis. I know this isn’t Gone With the Wind, but this is a lot of discussion over the fake martini prank. Can we not move on ?
Sutton didn’t pick up on the joke, and she’s feeling left out. I can kind of feel it and get it. It does seem like they’re all kind of making her feel dumb, which doesn’t help when she’s already feeling left out of the joke.
These girls are very competitive —- Sutton needed to point out to Dorit that she is also well- traveled . But at the same time, Dorit is kind of naive to have made that comparison to begin with. To not know that “The South” is known (unfairly) for being racist, is a little naive. It’s like “wait, oh, are New Yorkers rude ??– I never heard that” Again, it’s a stereo type. It was a little over Dorit’s head to try to rationalize why Sutton has experienced being made to feel racist, while Erika has not. I believe it’s just two different personalities. No one would dare confront scary Erika about something like that, but again Sutton is an easier target. So Dorit,stick to swim suit design. Is she even still doing that ?
