Here we go. Kyle stormed from the table after he tried to make a weird buzzed apology to the group for his marriage troubles,
Everyone just eating away like they haven’t eaten in a week, as he was rambling, was the most entertaining part. I think they’re so immune to his weird-ass ‘apologies.’
They continue eating. Amanda is shoveling the most humongous bites of spaghetti into her mouth, which I’m not judging. I take me some big bites too.
Carl ridicules it being an entire two minutes before they started going at it and insulting each other.
Mia is so confused. Little do they know this is just another summer! She also marvels at how everyone just kept eating, and not listening as he was yammering on. I think one of his friends, such as Carl, could have suggested he abort the mission when everyone was laughing and ignoring him.
Kyle has to be tipsy or just plain drunk, as he’s inside talking to packages about being laughed at.
Can’t Amanda dig deep inside herself, and go in and say SOMETHING to smooth it over with him, at least temporarily?? (Of course it would be temporary, that goes without saying.) Do I sound like a jerk saying that? Am I breaking girl code? It’s hard for me to pick a side with these two, because I can see the frustration on both sides.
Why should Carl be the one to go check on him? Amanda, you’re married to the man. They both knew what they were getting into.
She knew he needed 24/7 attention, and he knew she was an introvert, extra laid back and lazy. They act like this was an arranged marriage or something.
Kyle whines and carries on to Carl. He is such a good sport.
Jesse points out he also apologized to the guys earlier that day. So like what the hell? That made this little diatribe and litany of excuses even more bizarre and unnecessary. It was more like airing dirty laundry, than an apology. That’s what he doesn’t seem to get.
Carl returns to the table, and they ridicule Kyle a little more. To break the ice, Carl asks Levi who she thinks is the hottest guy at the table. She chooses Ben.
Okay, Carl that made it a lot less awkward. I think KJ is cuter than Ben, actually. Tired of this ‘coy’ game Ben plays.
I don’t know what to say about the cardboard cut-outs.
Ciara bitches at West for wearing her sunglasses on his sweaty forehead.
He pisses and moans how that hurt his little fucking feelings.

Kyle again attempts another apology to Amanda in their room as she gets in bed, and he prepares to go out. He claims he tried to talk to her ‘multiple times’ all week.
It’s hard to believe they live in the same apartment. She calls him a liar. I think what he really means is ‘I meant to talk to you multiple times this week.’ But he didn’t.
He manages to get a dig in about getting high, and how she doesn’t work or do anything. Does he have a leg to stand on bitching about her getting high (although I agree it’s the last thing she should be doing) when he drinks every night? Not sure why she’s not pointing that out.
I’m assuming he has released her from her Loverboy duties. Now she’s free to design her ‘swim line’ which she’s definitely NOT doing.
Next morning, Kyle tries to just make small talk with Amanda by letting him know ‘he’ll be back.’ And that doesn’t even go well.
I don’t get Jesse and Ciara’s dynamic at all. They clearly have hooked up, and he clearly isn’t interested in dating or getting serious with her, only making pervy comments about her breasts.
She’s in his room showing him all of her bikini’s and cover ups for him to make a decision on what she should wear to the beach. To me that’s something a woman should do with her partner or someone she’s dating, not some random guy that likes to rub on you.
Ciara seems to accept the bare minimum from guys.
Amanda is walking around the house carrying Ben’s cut-out.
Jesse’s such a fucking dickwad. He talks to Mia about his relationship status and dismisses Lexi as a relationship or even a girlfriend because they “only dated for eight weeks.”
I’m kind of glad he doesn’t take Ciara seriously, because pretty sure he’d just walk all over her anyway. Or does she deserve it after last summer when she was flirty with him when he was supposedly dating Lexi exclusively.
Ciara too dismisses Lexi as being an ex-girlfriend. Okay Ciara, when is the last time you had a serious boyfriend? Like high school? I’ve literally never heard her talk about any guy.
Two months, that’s a fair amount of time, and he was definitely calling her his girlfriend and telling her he loved her, pretty sure.
They flash on all of the love-bombing scenes which he was totally doing on purpose. Like he knew what he was doing.
Ciara insinuates to him that he needs to go for someone more vocal and opinionated, such as herself? Is she being serious right now?
Lexi stood up to him and told him what’s what. That’s why he started hating on her. WTF is she talking about?
And in what world does she think Jesse would treat her any better than he did Lexi?? Wow. This chick is delusional if she thinks she’s so much spunkier than Lexi, because she’s certainly not.
That was hilarious. Thanks Ciara for the entertainment. If they started dating for real, he would treat her like shit too, because that’s how he treats all women. Because he’s an arrogant piece of shit. Also he’s not bringing a black girl home to his mom. He’s just not.
He’d probbaly treat Ciara shittier than he treated Lexi.

So they’re having a beach day. The married couple in the group is not interacting at all.
Kyle and West have a chat. Although I think West is kind of an idiot, what he says to him makes actual sense.
He tells him, and I’m paraphrasing the convo, this isn’t word for word, Amanda isn’t impressed by what he perceives as this ‘grand gesture’ of making an apology announcement to the group. He needs to speak to her directly.
Which, in all fairness he did try to do the previous night and that didn’t go well because they started arguing about whether or not he tried to talk to her all week.
Kyle nicely asks Amanda to take her aside to ‘the apology dune.’ Everyone already knew, viewers and the group, this was going to be a waste of time.
I do think Kyle had good intentions, he just can’t seem to execute, or follow through
Starts off okay-ish and then Amanda brings up his drinking and possible cheating. Kyle doesn’t want to hear that.
She won’t take into consideration any of his complaints about her, if he won’t stop drinking heavily. As he’s sitting there sucking on a Loverboy.
Her request isn’t ridiculous. She seems fine that he’s going out and DJing, she just wants him to come home when he’s finished and not intoxicated.
I noticed this: First he blamed drinking too much on the fact that he’s a social drinker, and then he blamed it on being in a bad place due to her. It’s her fault you know.
I want to be on Kyle’s side, but then he says shit like this.
Amanda reminds him that there are always the drunken cheating rumors when he’s out that go on all year long. He wants her to stop ‘focusing’ on that. Yeah Amanda, stop focusing on the actual problem. What is wrong with you?
I feel like if your husband is calling you ‘dude’ the marriage is probably over.
I was kind of on his side when I watched this the first time, now I’m definitely changing my mind.
I do wish she could be a little more energetic and want to do things with him. I can see how that’s frustrating. But yeah that isn’t an excuse to be unfaithful.
Kyle’s had enough of the alcohol and cheating talk.
Now the tit for tat starts. Since she’s accusing him of having an alcohol problem, he starts with the complaints that she won’t have sex with him.
Kyle’s very ‘laser-focused’ on being asked questions. Amanda will you ask him a fucking question already?
He storms away from the convo, but not before getting a few more digs in about her having no drive, nor personality.
She looks so sad as he leaves her sitting there. I don’t even think she cares that he calls her boring.
He jumps in the ocean for two minutes, and she brings up the alleged cheating and all of the messages she gets when he’s out that he’s ‘up to something.’
I’m wondering if he’s doing all of this cheating, why these women aren’t coming forward since he’s famous? No photos? You know girls love that shit. It makes them feel important to hook up with someone famous.
I want to give him the benefit of the doubt.
But I don’t know. He’s not really denying it as she tells him how much it bothers her. He just apologizes for “making their business everyone’s business.”

They sort of hug. They really do have no chemistry.
For dinner the group splits up. Half go out, half stay in. Kyle and Amanda are of course in separate groups.
I love KJ, I think he’s a cutie. That’s sad about his dad. What an asshole.
The dinner at home group decides to play a game where they ask each other any question. Mia asks West a general question and he starts whining about Ciara. For a girl he had NO interest in, he seems to not be able to stop talking about her. I feel like it’s a classic case of he doesn’t want her, but doesn’t want anyone else to have her.
He knows Mia is going to be reporting back to her.
At the restaurant, Amanda does acknowledge what I’ve been saying. I was beginning to think I was crazy, that last summer they were doing great.
She confirms when filming stopped, he went back to staying out all night, So she does have a point then that this is a big issue, and causes her to withdraw. I did notice her paying more attention to him, so he was less whiny about that. She was also on the new meds at that time and seemed unbothered.
Kyle gets asked if DJing less would make Amanda happy if he was willing to do that. He manages to hem and haw until the timer goes off and never answers the question.
They all go out. Kyle gets in bed drunk rambles some more.
