Mary’s church service was ‘beautiful?’
She stood up there yelling gibberish. With everyone cheering her on who had zero clue as to wtf she was even saying.
Meredith is acting so Meredith. “So niiiiiccccce, so beautifullllllllllll.”
They all head to lunch together after the service.
Whitney looks all decked out in Temu as usual. I was going to say something about her outfit last week but I was trying to be nice. I think.
I also noticed last week that someone pointed out that Meredith’s ‘boot’ from an alleged toe injury was on different feet in two different scenes.
Leredith arrives to the lunch venue getting the cold shoulder again. Awkward and quiet as they get seated and served.
Yikes I didn’t even notice that Britani was absent from the festies. Mary didn’t appreciate her non-Christ-like comment from the trip. Britani apologized when Mary told her that’s she wasn’t welcome, however, she still didn’t snag the invite.
Mary points this out to put Leredith on the spot hoping they will express remorse for bullying her on the plane for nine hours.
And Mary is right and she often makes little to no sense. She points out a nice thing to say when your direct actions upset someone. ‘I am sorry I offended you.’ Why does an actual adult need told that?
Heather points out there was zero mention of remorse when she spoke to Lisa.
Lisa is nervous/anxious whatever you want to call it, and starts flipping her hair around.
Meredith is acting defensive, guilty and uncomfortable.
If Meredith was strung on xannies and washed them down with three glasses of wine, why can’t she admit that and say she doesn’t remember and she’s sorry.
She doesn’t even have to admit to the xannies or whatever the hell she’s hooked on. Three glasses of wine can make you get all in your feelings if you’re already pissed off or upset. But she won’t own shit. She just sits there looking stupid.
She feels cornered and has to say something, so she refers to it as “wrong place wrong time.”
I guess that’s one way of looking at it. I feel like I would be remiss to not point out that Britani could have stood up for herself. She’s not a child. She could have told her to knock it off. Perhaps she could have offered some words of remorse for telling Meredith that ‘TikTok says’ Seth has a mistress.
Their defense is that Meredith was talking TO Lisa the entire time (loudly right behind Britani where she knew she could overhear) and not addressing Britani at all. Okay Meredith that’s still taunting and bullying. It’s worse actually. Have the balls to speak directly to the person you’re pissed at, not loudly AT her.
Meredith will NOT stop using the word ‘vented.’ She says it’s not possible she terrorized Britani the entire flight because she watched two movies and slept. One being Crazy Rich Asians and the other she “doesn’t recall the name of.”
They ask how Crazy Rich Asians ends and Meredith also doesn’t remember that, coincidentally. She thinks it’s strange to recall the end of a movie she watched a week ago. She just keeps digging herself deeper and deeper into a hole. And keeps making it clear to the girls and the viewers that she’s lying her ass off.
I assume Meredith is doing that thing that liars do, and thinks if she keeps repeating her lies, it will make it true.
That’s the funny thing about lying. Once you tell ONE LIE, it snowballs and turns into more and more lies as you try to defend yourself against what you’re initially lying about. It’s so much easier to just admit you were wrong? Isn’t it??
Then having to stick to the lie several years later because how idiotic are you going to look if admitted to lying about your deplorable behavior for all of that time. It’s such a sad and pathetic existence.
Lisa does actually admit Meredith was losing her shit, which forces Meredith to half say it too. They supposedly feel remorse now, magically. Was it the was wacko-doodle church service perhaps?
Meredith points out that Britani hurt HER feeling with the Seth thing.
Heather explains to Meredith that the punishment so to speak, did not suit the crime, so no one cares about her feelings anymore. I’m paraphrasing. Meredith seems to possibly be receiving it. Not sure. It’s hard to tell with her.
If I were Heather I don’t know if I would have told her she ‘lost her privilege to her feelings’ or whatever she said. Sometimes Heather doesn’t word things quite as she should. She tends to miss the mark, but then when she proceeds to explain her statement, you’re like OH OKAY, well THAT makes sense! Why didn’t you just say that?
Lisa makes up lies as to why she didn’t go through customs with everyone and avoided Britani at the airport.
See what I mean? More lies to cover up for your previous lies.
By the way, I think it might seem like Meredith does suspect that Seth is having an affair.
Meredith and Lisa do not seem to have their stories straight. Mary points out what I don’t think Meredith wants to talk about, that she clearly is having memory issues, which indicates of course drugs and/or alcohol.
Meredith starts the weird Meredith sideways head thing as she reassures us that she remembers. However she doesn’t recall the second movie she watched, or how the first one ended.
Now we’re hearing that she was spotted drinking in the airport lounge and on the airplane.
I do think she blacked-out. Nothing else makes sense here. Lisa, as her friend should have realized that and NOT egged her on, but encouraged her to shut up, stop drinking, and to speak to Britani at a later time when she calmed down.
That’s what friend would do. But she was stuck with Lisa Barlow. Lisa probably kept ordering her more wine.

Lisa and Meredith meet for a mani/pedi. They immediately start commiserating about the plane. Meredith doesn’t appreciate being ‘judged’ by Whitney.
They flash on a scene where Lisa met with Britani and took little to no accountability. Lisa thinks she was being supportive and helpful by encouraging Meredith’s blacked-out temper tantrum. Okay Lisa, you’re an idiot.
Meredith goes on a rant that she feels sorry for Britani because of her so-called relationship, and professional struggles. She claims she’s ‘happy’ to talk to Britani. I highly doubt that. She’s being pushed into it. She’s not happy about it.

Whitney takes a U-Haul to Heather’s. Why did we need this massive U-Haul for one disgusting and yellow-stained mattress, that she’s had for TWENTY YEARS? Euwwww.
And why would Heather be doing this in a formal lace dress and four-inch pumps? SO confused by all of this.
The stains we get reassured are not ‘sex stains.’ Then what are they? Why are we recycling this mattress? Gross. Throw it OUT. See why you shouldn’t buy a ‘refurbished’ mattress?
Whitney compares Meredith’s behavior to her dad’s who has/had an alcohol problem.

Britani and her daughter Olivia go to counseling. Olivia tells the counselor when Britani divorced their dad and got remarried very soon after, she felt like she wasn’t the priority anymore and the new guy, and his kids were. That’s so sad.

Bronwyn makes Bonsai trees with Gwen and the lady from Goonies.
Does Bronwyn ever NOT point out the designer that she’s wearing. “Can I cry on Gucci?” “I shouldn’t be wearing Valentino to do this.” We get it.

Gwen doesn’t want to stay in Utah for school and go ‘BYU’ where I guess everyone that lives in Utah is ‘supposed’ to go.
Her bitchy mom says she wants to leave her house too. I feel like this is upsetting Bronwyn so much because she doesn’t want to be alone with Todd. And WHO can blame her?
Her mom acted a lot less like a total nasty bitch in this scene.

And here we go. Meredith felt guilt-tripped and pressured to meet with Britani.
Meredith looks sooooo uncomfortable. Not good at apologizing I see. I know another woman like that who is enabled by a pussy dude that likes her ugly builder grade house. And that’s all he likes. So he runs around like her little minion bitch boy defending her and taking the blame for her vile behavior. I mean my GOD, maybe if the house was in BENT CREEK I would understand. So embarrassing. So so embarrassing. Sold out your family for that evil fat freak.
Back to this. Meredith sounds like a fucking robot. I. AM. UH. SORRYYYY. THAT YOU, HEARD ME.
Meredith you wanted her to hear you. She was doing that thing that girls do in middle school. Then again she was blacked out so she doesn’t fucking know.
She starts the ‘wrong place wrong time’ thing again. So taunting screaming and terrorizing someone would have been okay two days later, on a train?
This shit does not seem genuine in the least. Britani is accepting it since she points out she’s asking for forgiveness as well, with Meredith and with her daughter. She admits sharing the TikTok info was a shitty thing to do.
I love how Meredith sticks with this ‘apologizing that her feelings are hurt’ instead of apologizing for what she did. That’s not an apology. Britani should tell her she’s sorry Seth has a girlfriend.
As I said it wasn’t genuine and she did this after she was ordered to do so. Meredith is happy to have this behind her I am sure.
