Katie gets upset upon seeing Matt due to the manner in which she’s been getting treated, even on the reunion stage. I don’t want to sound like someone that makes everthing about race but it’s really all that makes sense here.
She’s Asian, and she’s a natural beauty with a banging body, great fashion sense and clothes, and a really sweet husband (or so it seems, other husbands have seeemed ‘sweet’ and we find out later not so much.)
Matt has a very valid point in the fact that Jenn referred to her as a con artist (which she has no recollection of but I believe she did) is so ironic when her dude is an ACTUAL CON ARTIST. Or was. Probably still is. The dude was involved in an illegal gambling operation and cut a deal to **** himself, and threw his buddy under the bus. But Jenn is too dumb and lazy to look into this. Or maybe she has and that’s why there are marriage reservations.
So Katie was asking the other Matt, Ryan’s ‘friend’ whose going to jail his wife about Ryan’s involvement. I mean she shouldn’t have been doing that, but I see why she was.
Jenn is sitting her like this Captain fucking Sanctimonious (I know some of those people too) when her dude is literally a criminal that got off by the skin of his teeth. Like how exactly does she think Ryan has what he has when there is NO JOB that he goes to and had no business. I am kind of wondering now that it all blew up, how he’s maintaining that bougie house in OC. I heard he’s banned from the casinos in Vegas.
They reconvene since lunch. Why is this Tamtrums’ face as Shannon jokes that she feels bloated after lunch. I feel gross right after I eat something too. What is WITH this face? Why is she so hostile and hateful?
Shannon did nothing to her besides refuse to go along with her fake attempt to reconcile after she kicked her when she was down all last season.
She’s literally looking at her like she wants to stab her. Proves how disingenuous her make-up attempts were all season. You don’t look at someone like this who you recently just begged for forgiveness to be your friend again.
Now that Matt’s here ‘Naked Wasted’ is the topic. You all know you could not wait til this topic from 100 years ago came up.
We all know Gretchen that you did say you think Tamra roofied you.
Why this extreme need to back pedal, I can’t say I fully get, but again don’t care.
If that was her experience than fine. Being roofied is a different feeling than just being hungover, so if she felt weird the next morning, there probably was something given to her.
Why is Jenn so hell bent on pretending she didn’t hear it? Don’t know that either. I would think she would love to make Tamra look worse.
It all seems like it was so produced to make Katie look like a trouble-making lying nut job.
So Bravo brings the first Asian or even non-white on the cast, and this is what Bravo does? No other cast member has been iced out early in the season like this before, over a series of denials and non-consequential bull shit.
Jenn loves her ‘how DARE YOU’s’ doesn’t she. Every damned thing is “how dare you!”
Even when it makes no sense, such as when Katie points out it was quite tone-deaf of her and Gretchen to post that karate video with the offensive-sounding fighting Asian noises.
They quickly got a shit ton of comments telling them it was inappropriate, and they immediately took it down, but HOW DARE Katie say the exact same thing.
Jenn couldn’t even apologize then and doesn’t here either. She continues to repeat ‘how dare you’ sounding like some kind of fucking numb skull
Gretchen apologizes via an AI-generated text message. Gretchen denies it.
Ya can’t make this shit up.
Katie tries to explain to her how she defended her even when she thought Ryan was up to sketchy shit because that’s what friends do for each other. Jenn looks confused by that even though it’s pretty self-explanatory.
Andy should’ve had her respond to that. But he didn’t because they are determined to make her sound nuts.
Jenn’s extreme discontent towards Katie is weird to me, and seems to be blown way out of proportion.
When someone tells you that you offended them, and hurt their feelings, regardless of whether or not you meant it, normal people apologize, not say HOW DARE YOU!!” Like what the fuck Jenn? You’re acting like Tamtrums.
It’s actually disturbing the way Katie’s being treated.
I feel like Jenn is lying as she recounts all of this hospital and roofie malarkey. She seems to be tripping over her words and contradicting herself.
Gretchen too is lying OF COURSE because she was filmed telling two of the ladies she went to the hospital in the car in New Orleans.
Oh she ‘misspoke.’ Okay. When you misspeak, or miscommunicate, you don’t say the complete opposite of what you mean.
I don’t know why they think if Gretchen had gone to the hospital that night it would have been common knowledge, even if she chose not to share it.
I assume they found she wasn’t drugged so she chose not to share it.
Have these people ever heard of doctor/patient privacy or HIPAA?? Which I’m pretty sure was a thing in 2007 or whenever the hell it was.
And I notice the fake lie detector people that were fed the questions BY TACOS, asked her if she went to the hospital not if she SAID she went to the hospital.
So we now get to the guys’ versions of all of this since they were involved and as I said earlier, Matt is the only one to show, which is very telling to me.
Why don’t they move Katie closer to Andy during all of this? Are we this petty to be that worried about who is in what seat in order of importance?
It’s so hard for her to speak with him on the end of the couch. They make her crane her neck awkwardly the entire time. What’s the purpose of Gina being ‘second’ anyway? She brings nothing to the table except bad fashion and her ridiculous 2002 Valley Girl twang that everyone hates.
Why would Matt be making up that Slade called him multiple times to not repeat what Gretchen said? It doesn’t even make any sense for that to be made up.
Who says ‘hold the line?’
So the subject at dinner came to be, because they were gossiping about what a bitch Tamra was. That actually makes sense. Nothing else does, but I’ll buy that.
Jenn starts making excuses for Ryan not showing and Matt’s not interested.
So Matt called Eddie gay that night. Big fucking whoop. Everyone knows he’s gay. Dudes can immediately pick up on that shit. There’s nothing wrong with it.
We don’t even care, we just wish he’d admit it, dump Tamtrums and be his ‘authentic’ self. Maybe he should read the book too.
Tamtrums should be used to people calling him gay by now. She has to know it too.
Matt seems miffed and embarrassed that was brought up. Apparently he thought it was a safe space to share that.
But I do notice he doesn’t deny it, so right there, that makes me trust him.
Tamra starts muttering to Gina about it, who is probably thinking
This has to be getting embarrassing for Tamtrums. Who wants to be married to a dude everyone says is gay?
Gretchen keeps yelling at Matt for ‘talking shit’ and the dude’s not even denying it nor saying anything.
She keeps interrupting him. Shannon thinks Matt is ‘shaking.’ I don’t really see that. He seems confident in what he’s saying.
Matt says Slade told him to forget about that conversation. Gretchen has a different version.
Andy again insists that had Gretchen gone to the hospital, we all would have known, which is so not the case, Andy. Whatever. Oh and did Andy say this Kiki chick has a segment on Andy’s podcast? That’s interesting. So she was planted by Bravo to befriend Katie, and get her talking?
Gretchen’s excuse for Slade’s absence is now all of a sudden he’s sensitive to the ridicule about being on Housewives.
Gretchen and Katie argue about paychecks. We really don’t want to hear that, but it is what it is.
Jenn is so fucking dumb. She has no clue what’s being said to her until five minutes later.
Then she has this clueless look on her face. Again.
