Lindsay’s apartment is sick.
Does she really have this many friends? Are these filler people like the house parties?
The convo continues from last week with Dara preturbed with Bailey for blabbing she was ‘changing’ in Ben’s room for an hour.
I can’t help but notice how horribly these three are dressed. Especially Levi. I think Bailey misses the mark a lot.
I mentioned last week that given the new revelations, it makes this even more trivial than it already is.
There are some holes in Dara’s story because she claims she changed in his room because her “suitcase got put in there.” They play the flash, and her suitcase was in the foyer, and she rolled it to Ben’s room to change.
And she asked Ben if he was going to help her, so there was some heavy andd suggestive flirting going on.
So if she’s lying about that, what else is she lying about? I think they did fool around, which isn’t the end of the world, it just seems a little skanky since she hooked up with KJ shortly after that interaction.
It’s really hard to focus on this right now.
Now Dara decides she’s ticked off (even though she’s so into KJ) that Ben denied that they had been flirty that weekend.
Ben arrives with this chick that he’s decided that he’s still into. Or has been with the entire time. Or dumped right before filming to see if there was someone better in the house. There wasn’t. He wasn’t into Ciara because she’s not white. Dara went for KJ. And last but certainly not least, Amanda, who he’s really into, was hooking up with West
The ever-judgy and relationship-hater Jesse mentions in his yap, this all seems odd. I do think he’s right in this instance though.

Mia’s boyfriend makes the trip from Florida to accompany her so we know he really does exist. I’m not foreseeing them being together much longer given the conversation she has later with Lindsay and Amanda.
Bailey seems into Carl. Not sure why. Nothing against Carl but I don’t know. Never mind.
Kyle and Amanda are getting along and conversing like normal people because Kyle is excited she agreed to go to counseling. I’m guessing that never happened.
It does seem like Ben has been talking to this Sabrina since the beginning of filming, as Jesse suspects.
I actually did see something on this when the season aired, that he had a girlfriend. She kind of comes off as a super fan ‘girlie.’ She also seems overly ecstatic to be here. It’s a little much.
Could she kiss the guys’ asses any more? She heard Jesse is “SO COOL?” Not a good idea to say that to him.

That whole exchange with Ciara, what even WAS that? It was so ‘creepy and weird.’ Does someone really just want on the show or what in the groupie is going on here?

Lindsay makes a speech after proceeding to announce how much she hates to make speeches. Yes Lindsay, we know you HATE to be the center of attention.

Producers did her kind of dirty by flashing on thirty speeches over the years.
She just can’t not get the Carl digs in. For someone who claims to not care, she actually does seem to care. A lot.
Carl isn’t even the most recent ex. She has a whole ass kid to the latest ex.
She got dumped by the Baby Daddy That’s never been officially admitted, but do the math.
Where’s the Turner hate? Why does Carl get picked on? Isn’t he actually kind of vindicated? Not to mention all of the others that dumped her.
Whatever. She’s so fucking unaware and self-centered.
Carl’s too much of a pussy to say, jokingly of course, “and there’s an ex baby daddy don’t forget.” He always just looks embarrassed. Not sure what happened to his balls. He didn’t used to be like this.

Levi, Dara and Bailey get the worst dressed honor at this party, by the way. Maybe in general.

Carl makes an abrupt exit after being singled out in typical snarky Lindsay fashion.
Sabrina, who’s been coming off as kind of socially awkward to be honest approaches Amanda and starts spewing advice about her marriage troubles, with Kyle in earshot, basically advising her to leave him.
Amanda says in her yap, she also suspects that Ben seems to have been communicating the entire time.
Producers could have also given her instructions, that could be why it’s coming off so cringy and unnatural. Like Bailey she struggles with this.

Ben looks at Sabrina like he wants her to shut up.
Production made the trip to North Carolina to film Ciara and her new home purchase. I wonder why a granddaughter would have to purchase it, to keep it in the family. I’m thinking there was another previous owner after they passed away perhaps. It’s so cute and homey. Looks like good bones, as they say. Just needs some updating.

Mia, Amanda and Lindsay meet for lunch in the city. Amanda reflects on the previous weekend and Kyle’s meltdown, that we now are 99% sure was more due to her hanging all over West, and not so much that she was ignoring or not supporting him.
I feel like Amanda must have realized that too. I’m thinking her ‘thumbs up’ to West during the argument, coming out of their room when West was lurking in the hallway, was because they were worried Kyle knew and he was going to out her during their fight.

Back to the here and now, Mia discusses how she made her guy sign a ‘contract’ that since their relationship is long distance, he can only be gone for ten days at a time.
As if a guy cares about a silly signed piece of paper. I foresee them breaking up. This long distance thing isn’t sustainable. I’m assuming she doesn’t want to go to Miama or LA where these restaurants are that he supposedly owns.

I was a little surprised to see Ciara’s mom making an appearance.
I don’t get why her dad would be pissed off about her buying his parents’ house. Clearly he didn’t want it. Sounds like he was the owner when she bought it. That’s what I wasn’t sure of.

So I guess there’s no birthday soiree for Lindsay at the party house, which is fine. We just got done with Kyle and Amanda’s. No more birthdays!
And as any Summer House viewer knows, if you’ve been watching for at least the past five years, Lindsay’s birthday coincides closely with the anniversary of Carl’s brother passing away. I think he got the news on her birthday.
There was no check-in from Kyle about it, who should be well aware that the date was near, since he was with Lindsay on her birthday. He should have reached out for a check-in. I’m sure that’s always a hard day for Carl.
Ciara tells Ben how she bonded with Sabrina. Clearly, because she was completely fawning all over her. Of course Ciara was loving that.
Apparently Amanda who isn’t known for her sense of humor, tried to joke with Sabrina by telling her how the house thinks that Ben is in love with her. Safe to say that the joke didn’t land.
Our girl Amanda sure is a hot commodity this summer.
Her husband wants her attention, Ben does seem to have a crush on her let’s be honest, and now we’re finding out she and West were having this tawdry love affair the entire time.
Another line that lands differently now is when West was trying to reason with Kyle after he said “fuck you” to Amanda, seemingly out of nowhere. We now see it might have been warranted.
Remember Kyle told West Amanda has spent ‘more time with West than him in the past SIX MONTHS!
SIX months people. So they had been hanging out for six months without Kyle.
Ben seems a little extra about it in his yap. This dude seems a little overly sensitive.
It is odd that Ben is suddenly SO IN LOVE with this girl. It doesn’t add up.

We’re almost there! Ciara has to look up how to make a margarita after she offers them to everyone as if she knows what she’s doing. You know what makes great margs and is so easy and so much better than those mixes? The ‘Simply’ brand Limeade. It’s perfect. You don’t even need to add anything else, except salt of course.
Carl bitches about Kyle not checking in on him to Ben and Jesse. They encourage Carl to speak to him.
West keeps Kyle occupied in his bedroom, and lets him know his oversight and that Carl is pissed.
Kyle as always, has 37 excuses at the ready. The fact that he made a post with Lindsay on her birthday was brutal. As I mentioned before, it’s common knowledge within the group of the common date.

Does this dickwad seriously say he was busy ‘doing laundry?’ Wow. Just wow.
They’re going mini-golfing and out afterwards, and these girls are extremely overdressed.
Bailey is wearing a whole-ass ball gown. She’s 100% over dressed for the after party.

I’m not giving West and that stupid scarf any attention.
The driving range IS allowing Bravo cameras. As I mentioned before, they are being shunned by a lot of the businesses in the area. It’s almost as if they’re downgrading The Hamptons.
Carl has his talk with Kyle. He’s not letting him off so easy, as West assured him.

I feel like when Kyle was with Lindsay, she would have mentioned it. This all seems a little curious but, I would hope Carl wouldn’t use his brother’s death for an excuse to have camera time.
I can’t even believe he says something about feeling obligated to be with Lindsay for her birthday so she doesn’t get pissed off. Seriously? He would have been better off going with the ‘laundry and packing’ thing.
As if that’s not bad enough, Kyle whines that he hasn’t been ‘inviting him to things.’
Carl looks speechless.
I guess the issue with that is, while he may be right, that is a whole separate thing from what Carl would have appreciated, which was just the acknowledgment. All he even wanted was a text message, not flowers, not a whole pity party.
It ends on sort of on an ‘unfinished’ note with Carl communicating that he can’t find the right words or whatever.
Then in his yap he says it wasn’t so much that he didn’t know the right words, he just wanted to let him have it, but didn’t feel comfortable telling him to eff off. Just like he is with Lindsay, stop being such a pussy!
As if that wasn’t enough to wrap up the last two minutes, Ben decides he wants to bitch at Amanda for her joke to Sabrina.
Amanda’s eyes are like golf balls. She looks terrified. I think here again like the convo with Ciara at the party, she’s worried about getting confronted about her affair with West.

Amanda is immediately apologetic and seems taken aback that this man that she thought was infatuated with her, would be speaking to her this way.
He does need to tone down the way he talks to women.
Looks like this will resume next week. I’m sure we’re all on the edge of our seats.
