I believe she went NUTS, and Lisa, instead of trying to calm her down, since as I pointed out, they’re not actually friends, encouraged and egged her on knowing she would be taking the heat.

Britani was doing her Housewife job by bringing up the talk that Seth has a girlfriend. She should know that Meredith tends to spiral, but she chose to still go with it.
I think Meredith was chugging wine at the airport, had more on the plane and blacked out while ranting about it. I just wish she would say that.
Her story and she’s sticking to it, is that she would have been arrested Bridesmaids-style by an air marshal if this actually had taken place. No, not necessarily. Maybe she should have though. It does sound like it was a ruckus.
They play a scene of Lisa telling John she’s never seen Meredith that upset. So that’s right from the horse’s mouth. One of the horses.
Britani had announced on WWHL this week that she has ‘proof’ that Seth has a girlfriend or several, if he’s like my ex. No wonder I was constantly getting down-there infections. Then he would get mad at me when I had them.

If Britani wants to move past this and stay out of the way of the wrath of Meredith Marks, that probably wasn’t a great idea.

Back to the plane, so the $64,000 question: Why did no one record this?? It’s not 1982, everyone is carrying tiny little ‘tape recorders.’
Heather’s reasoning is she felt like it was a shitty thing to do, as if it’s entertaining. I would have least hit the button for like thirty seconds, just in the event Meredith played dumb, or was blacked out. Which is exactly what is happening. A little of both I believe.
So they bicker why no one seemed to be taking Meredith’s side in the argument. Heather marvels at how detailed Meredith’s memory is in certain situations that day.
Basically, she doesn’t recall anything shortly after they boarded the plane, because she was blacked out, in my opinion.
And yes Heather, you have been screeching all season. Your damned voice is STILL hoarse from all of the screeching, so desperate to have your moment, which you didn’t have.
Then she screeches that their friendship is over and then delivers some sort of what sounded like a threat.
Yikes.
Heather was so much more likable when she was curvy.
So we’re back with Mer on the spot to explain herself about the plane meltdown, tantrum, drunken rant, whatever the hell you want to call it.
She doesn’t deny that ‘something’ happened she says, however she was upset and venting. She wants to know why everyone just sat there instead of talking to her or helping Britani.
I guess that’s valid. It does seem like everyone just kind of turtled.
So apparently, she doesn’t recall that people did check in with her.
Honestly that should have been her BFF’s job, who was literally sitting next to her the entire flight, to calm her down and suggest she shut the fuck up and put a pin in this before she gets kicked off the plane.
I feel like someone should be asking Lisa that.
I really wish Andy could be better at asking uncomfortable questions. But you know he has his faves, and I kind of think Lisa is one of them, because she brings the drama.
The narcs bring the drama fer sure. He knows that, so he coddles them.
Heather and Mer are going at it, and apparently there are ‘unspeakable’ things that Meredith said about Britani on the plane, that Heather is not divulging because she’s “protecting her.”

Meredith looks guilty and embarrassed. I’m assuming Lisa filled her in on what all was said, right? That only makes sense.
Whitney tells her she tried multiple times to tell her to quiet down and Meredith calls that a lie. Like why would Whitney make that up?
I really think Lisa is fucking with Meredith and didn’t fill her in on things she knows she doesn’t recall. I really do. It’s so Lisa.
As Whitney goes on to explain her interaction with Meredith and Lisa, it totally sounds like Lisa was adding fuel to the fire instead of trying to deescalate, as a TRUE FRIEND would do.
Again Andy, hello??? Do your fucking job. Address this.
Something like: “So Lisa why didn’t you, as her ‘good friend’ sitting beside her, attempt to calm her down instead of encouraging it?”
This does not get asked. I was fantasizing.
I feel like the things that Meredith is supposedly recalling from the plane are things Lisa told her, because she does seem confused.
So instead of putting Lisa on the hot seat, he wants to know why no one switched seats with Britani. That’s a dumb question and the answer seemed dumb too, so whatever.
I fully understand what Meredith probably did when she got up and pulled on Britani’s chair. I’m sure she did do it aggressively.
She doesn’t remember that either. Conveniently. She also denies pulling or touching her hair.
Finally he asks a valid question and Meredith side-steps it, if she had drinks prior to boarding.
So now, I think she sort of implicates herself by saying there are some underlying issues she has with Britani other than saying Seth cheats.
Keep in mind, she conveniently brings this up when asked if excessive alcohol was involved.
Apparently she views Britani as antisemitic because, long story short, a nail guy that apparently is, and did Britani’s nails for free if she gave her a shout-out (seriously she still didn’t pay her?) but Britani later learned she was antisemitic and called the nail guy and took down the review.
So Meredith is using this reasoning as hatred for Britani, and to excuse her plane tantrums.
She knew this would land with Andy, also being Jewish, so win-win, I think was her train of thought. She also managed to change the subject.
I’m not sure what to believe, but I do think Meredith is trying to deflect and is exaggerating and embellishing this scenario.
Britani gets upset about being accused of being a bigot and does the second walk-off.
That’s a big accusation Meredith and if you know it was a misunderstanding and seriously brought this up to deflect from your own bad behavior, that is some sick and sneaky shit.
Britani did allegedly apologize, but apparently Meredith didn’t like the apology if I’m following this.
Britani claims she didn’t know about the guys antisemitic posts. She didn’t know she was getting free nails for a review to deflect from bad reviews due to this She just thought he was being nice, and she was important now, and the review would be helpful.
I think Meredith is a fucking liar. Then she has Robotic Blinker Lisa sitting there backing her up saying “yahhhhhhh” who wasn’t even there for the interaction when Britani apologized.
Britani continues to cry and unravel as Heather and Angie seem to rally for her.
So here’s a stupid question. Did Meredith ever get to answering what she had to drink before the flight?
Nope, she didn’t, because she knew this would take over and Andy would forget.
And Meredith this isn’t an example really of ‘playing the victim.’ Britani is simply explaining her side of the story.
If anyone’s ‘playing the victim’ here, woman it’s you.
You brought this little story up at a very convenient time when you were on the hot seat about your alcohol consumption, so you are now a ‘victim’ of antisemitism.
