Southern Charm – 1/7/26 – Take a Seat

Not the ‘gentleman’s dinner.’

Do you think any will actually be in attendance??

Patricia verbally abuses this new butler guy over flatware placement on the table, while whining in her yap that he’s not a ‘professionally trained butler’ as Michael was.

Also embarrasses him by recounting how he left his phone (while using the flashlight) in the oven. While funny, it wasn’t cool. She didn’t tell the story in a joking way, she told it in a humiliating way.

I try to like Patricia, I do, but that was so bitchy.

This gives Whitney an excuse to make a pop-up.

Oh yeah I forgot Craig and Austen are having one of their typical bitch squabbles.

******

Marcy, the previous pregnant cousin of Shep’s gets reintroduced. The ‘baby’ is now 3 ½, and she has a son. Shep brags about his new house on Sullivan’s island.

Honestly does anyone comprehend what Shep’s problem is that he has no interest whatsoever in a relationship, a job or just altogether adulting?

And I’m unsure if I even like women.

This conversation between him and Marcy feels like beating a dead horse. We know Shep at this point and his struggles at doing basic adult things and the obsession with being an immature inconsiderate frat boy.

No one cares anymore, whether or not he’s in a relationship with anyone (man or woman if you get my drift. This MAY be one of his issues.)

Venita and Salley have an awkward lunch outing. I’m assuming they’re s till brawling because as we know, Venita ‘DOESN’T LIKE CRAIG!!!!’

Bravolebs crack me up. Who orders a bottle of champagne to sit at the bar in the afternoon for a casual lunch?

Venita is instantly sarcastic and annoying. Salley tells her she doesn’t want to stop ‘hanging out’ with Craig.

Does ANYONE know why Venita hates this guy so much. Is it seriously over Ventia taking Paige’s side in the break-up?

Perhaps she actually likes him? Women and men, as well as twelve year old’s, often claim to ‘hate’ someone they actually have a thing for.

Did Bravo really sign off, or worse yet, suggest this be her entire story line?

Do they want to get rid of her and this is how they thought they could do it in the most sneaky sly way?

Allow her to have the most asinine story line in all of Bravo history, to ensure the fans would be annoyed, and they would have no choice then to get rid of her?

That’s what it feels like to me.

Venita is convinced Craig will use Salley and then drop her like a dog, or whatever the hell she said.

I agree Craig is annoying, but he’s hardly a user or an abusive type guy.

After listening to this nonsense for way too long, Salley leaves. She didn’t even stick around for the free $100 bottle of champagne.

I mean how much they told me to hate Craig.

Since when is Craig Conover the ‘big bad wolf’ I guess would be my question.

Whitney is so creepy. I used to think he was kind of cool in a nerdy sort of way.

What is with Molly visiting him in his stupid man cave? It seems so awkward. She gifts him a cupcake as an FU gift from last season when he told her she shouldn’t be eating a cupcake.

I wouldn’t be bragging I hooked up with this dude. I think he and Shep both have the same type of ‘confusion.’

I heard her singing on TikTok and she’s a great singer. Very Jewel-like.

This interaction seems very forced. She’s DYING to talk about her lady parts with Whitney. I’m not seeing Molly being that upset about Venita outing her for her down-there surgery. So dumb.

I was hoping she wouldn’t go into detail with him, but she does. She did not miss a detail.

Let me know if there are any more details you need. I’m happy to discuss.

We can’t have a scene where she appears to be ‘upset’ Venita talked about this then the following week, she’s bragging about it to Whitney.

Let’s try to do better in the hypocrisy department.

Fat vagina lips chance of that happening.

******

Craig and Whitner meet for food and cocktails and discuss Austen and Craig’s little bitch fight. Then Craig’s heartbreak with Paige and how he’s ‘over it.’

Then Salley and Charley and whether or not he’s into either of them who seem to be hanging out in his hot tub a lot.

******

Whether we like it or not the Gentleman’s Dinner is upon us.

Austen pre-games and eats Chic Filet since the ‘dinner’ is too stressful to eat at, and whines to Audrey on the phone about Craig.

Hopefully none of Patricia’s chairs or furniture are harmed at this dinner.

******

Patricia is dogging so hard on poor Randy this season. Shep knocks and the poor guy doesn’t get to the door fast enough for Patricia.

On a positive note, I feel like Shep is always respectful to the ‘poors’ on the show.

He doesn’t give a fuck that Randy didn’t open the door for him. Have another cocktail Patricia and shut it. Perhaps he was busy getting ready for the bougie dinner??

Whitney immediately looks at Shep’s crotch and spies a few raindrops. No comment. I’m not saying nothin’!!

None of these dudes even bring a Hostess gift.

Correction: Craig has a bottle of wine and Patricia goes out of her way to acknowledge that.

See, I was ahead of things. When you’re invited somewhere for dinner, you ALWAYS bring something.

The other guys totally feel dumb. Namely, Shep and Whitler or whatever his name is. Shep and his alleged bougie upbringing should be well aware of this.

What I have to spend my parents’ money on other people??

New attendee Stephen is introduced. Also not empty-handed. Good job Stephen.

Rodrigo is absent and I’m so not mad about it.

Austen arrives fashionably late, with a bottle of wine in tow as well. I love how Craig calls Patricia ‘Miss Pat.’

Patricia gets things moving not two seconds into the appetizer, by asking Austen if wedding bells are in his near future. He quickly shuts that down.

He’s playing Audrey much like Paige played Craig. Hey, I know, why don’t Paige and Austen get together? Then they can toy and fuck with each other, and pretend like they may someday get married and relocate. No one should be mad.

Maybe Paige can ride on Austen’s coattails like she did with Craig.

If I was a woman dating a man for an extensive period and wanting to get married, I would be really pissed off at his response of saying there’s ‘no rush.’

Whitner reflects on asking Charley out and getting a hard ‘no.’

Yikes what is that about? I thought there was something cryptic said on WWHL as to why none of the ladies were interested in him. Not sure what the reason is.

Patricia asks about Craig’s hot tub antics. Or lack of antics.

Do you think I could get an invite??

He admits not much has been going on in THAT department.

Craig announces that he would take Paige back. Craig, stop IT. We don’t need to inflate this bitch’s head any more at this point.

It’s funny how they bring this Stephen dude out with really no background on why he’s here and what his connection is. I was seeing on SM that it seemed like there was some sort of ‘thing’ with him and Whitney, but I wasn’t seeing that really.

Stephen busts a chair. So either this is fabricated every year, or Patricia really needs a new dining room set. I know she likes her vintage furniture and all, and I can appreciate that, but if the shit keeps breaking perhaps it’s time to upgrade.

He brags he ‘can afford it.’ Weird thing to say when you break someone’s irreplaceable heirloom antique furniture. Patricia doesn’t seem amused.

Craig and Austen go outside for a chat. I wish these two girls would just get over their temper tantrums already.

I can’t even listen to these two. Craig is still so fixated on him not coming to his stupid Wednesday Memorial Day party.

Guess they made up. Again.
