Never thought to put pineapple juice with tequila before. I love fresh pineapple, but honestly it is a pain and a mess to deal with!
I think I’ll look into the gadget that Heather DuBrow used on OC. I got inspired to try this cocktail after Jersey Premier, where the theme was pineapples pineapples and more pineapples at Teresa’s pool party !!! I also love tequila, and jalapeno peppers!
This is a great refreshing spring/summer or anytime drink! Or if you’re just a lady in need drinking pineapple juice! Wink wink!!
These measurements are approximate. Alter if you need to — No Rules Recipe !!
3 – 4 oz pineapple juice
squeeze of fresh orange wedge, or splash of OJ. (can be omitted)
squeeze of fresh lime wedge or two
teeny bit of muddled/finely chopped jalapeno, or more if you want more heat (can be omitted)
1 – 2 oz tequila or vodka or white rum
splash of club soda
pineapple/orange slice for garnish
ice cubes
Mix all in a glass of your choice!!
add ice and garnish with orange and/or pineapple slices.
Do any alterations you see fit. Still great with just the pineapple juice and alcohol if you wanna streamline ! If you use rum, it makes it sort of a lighter version of a Pina Colada !! And who doesn’t love that ???
