All right, so I just don’t get Kyle’s clothing taste and style. I want to say she’s stylish since she’s so into fashion, but I just don’t think she is. I think that she has more misses than hits.
And the opening of her newest store, after three failed and closed, (I know it’s in a less expensive area, and that’s her rationale has to why this one might make it) was featured on the 5/26/22 episode.
I didn’t like at all what she wore to the opening. I see that these robe style long shirt dresses are very heavily featured. I don’t know why. I guess Kyle and her partner are pretty into them. I don’t think they flatter Kyle’s petite frame at all.
I looked at the website, and the price range is what I expected. The average price for one of these kimono garments is around $300 – $400. I think the prints are awful. Especially the leaf one that Kyle was wearing and the one with the eyes.
Her partner, SHAHIDA PARIDES is the designer, and is from India, so I can see why she would gravitate towards this kimono look, being popular in her culture. But these just don’t seem to me to be flattering.
Here is the website. It’s mostly the long kimono robes, (mumus) and very loud ugly fabrics. I did actually like some of the items in the sale section. Maybe I can ask DIana to buy me something too, like Erika sort of did.
So let’s break down some of the other looks from the evening. I’ve already covered Kyle. – NOT!
I also think she could have stepped it up a little since she is one of the owners, hosting a Store Opening Event. She could have found something a little dressier.
Rinna, Diana and Sutton just looked completely blah. No effort whatsoever, for a so-called Fashion Event.
Dorit – HOT! Even though she said it was purchased at Kyle’s store, I actually liked it. I loved the color and the style is a little more structured, than the robes.
Garcelle – HOT! Loved her blue sequined dress! Does NOT look like it came from Kyle’s store.
Crystal – I’m on the fence. I didn’t hate it, and I didn’t love it. She seems to be dressing really young this season. I liked the frilly femininity of it, and the color. This over frilly look is in. I just don’t know if it was for her.
Erika – NOT! I’m passing on even discussing it.
