So Salley was being serious about the chicken coop thing.
Craig told her he would help her pick out chickens the previous day and here she is drilling together a chicken coop in her backyard.
Meanwhile, Craig is at Charley’s art gallery (is it her gallery? I thought she just worked there) asking her on a date.

Madison is trying to get organized in her new house. She is just so —– I don’t even know. I don’t even know.

Whitner and Austen meet for some cold ones. Whitner gets a rum punch. Austen talks about his new kittens. No words.
I actually liked Whitner’s assessment of Craig and Austen’s friendship, being more of a rivalry than an actual friendship.
He went on to do a little analysis of their personalities. Austen with a victim complex, and Craig with a narcissist streak.
You know I never really had Craig pegged for a full fledged selfish abusive entitled narcissist, but, yeah I see a ‘streak’ that comes and goes that Whitner refers to.

I was NOT missing Leva. I just realized last week that she wasn’t around.
Lo and behold, here she is.
Venita, Molly, and Rodrigo (who I also did not miss in the last few) join her.
This seems like an unlikely and awkward quad.
They all kind of gang up on Salley for not being ‘a girls’ girl.’
I forget what Leva’s attitude towards Craig is.
She seems to not care for Salley.
Venita will not let go of her obsession to convince Salley that Craig doesn’t like her. Which he doesn’t, but still.
It’s not like he’s ‘using’ her and has bad intentions. I feel like he liked both Salley and Charley, and found he liked Charley better. It might just boil down to Salley was trying to hard.
At least he had the decency to not try to sleep with her.
As promised, he meets her to buy these chickens.
She chooses her chicks. Craig, who just recently asking Charley out, feels awkward and guilty around her.

Salley tells him she wants to date him, (something a woman should never ever say to a guy, not to sound old-fashioned) and he tells her he’s not interested.

That was so sad, and really did not appear to me to be any type of ‘scripted’ or produced scene. I think Salley genuinely thought he was into her.
Even though he hadn’t made any moves when he’s had more than opportunity, he was leading her on. Why have a girl at your house in your hot tub all night if you don’t like her, Craig?
That’s just douchey.
Wait ‘til she finds out he and Charley have this hot all-day boat ride date.
Charley talks to her mom and acts confused at to whether or not it’s a date. She knows it’s a fucking date.
I hate when people play dumb.
Charley looks literally terrified at the thought of sharing this news with Salley.
Remember she did verify with Salley earlier that she was not interested in Craig.
Madison gets an ultrasound and asked Salley to join, since Brett basically lives in California.
Salley looks at Madison as a big sister? That is scary. That girl is no role model, believe me. Salley recaps her convo with Craig.
Craig obviously had a change of heart, so he should say that, instead of acting like he wasn’t being flirty. Whatever.
******
Guy’s night with Craig, Whitner, Austen and Rodrigo.
Craig is surprised to know that Austen and Salley are ‘friendly.’
Southern Charm guys discuss their outfits entirely too much.
Madison is hosting a sleepover in her new house. This house is RIDICULOUS. Or is it nice? Oh no, ridiculous job and nice house. Sorry.
Nice builder grade shit colored house three inches away from your neighbors. I guess she and her nerdy husband couldn’t afford Bent Creek, heh?? Hilarious
The girls begin to arrive. Madison wastes zero time telling Venita that Craig friend-zoned Salley.
Ventia should be really trying to NOT look so happy about this.
I get it, liking to be be right, but she doesn’t need to look so positively elated that Craig doesn’t like Salley.

Simultaneous guys’ night scenes. Craig shares with Austen that he asked Charley out. He’s also not calling it a ‘date.’ So stupid.
Salley arrives to the slumber party. They ask her about Craig.
She pretends to be ‘more than happy’ to discuss it.
Venita tells her “I told you” and wants to know why she didn’t call her. Probably because she told her not to, and knew she would be gloating.
Venita gets in a pissy mood as they bicker, and decides to leave. No one stops her.
Madison sure doesn’t seem to care. I feel like as the host she could have pretended, and tried to get her to stay.

Craig admits to having feelings for Charley. You could tell immediately that they liked each other. There was immediate visible attraction and flirty energy.
No, Austen hanging out with someone does NOT make them your best friend. Craig is very right.

Things get intense between these two ladies, as they discuss Salley and Charley. That was kind of bitchy for Craig to call her ‘chaotic.’ I don’t think that was accurate.
Austen defends Salley. Actually he seems to be into her. Kind of like he was with Taylor when she was with Shep. And when she wasn’t with Shep.
Like Venita, Craig makes a dramatic exit.
So the guys are really crashing the girls’ night? I thought they were kidding. They’re such fucking girls.
The actual girls want to know where Craig is.
Austen proudly announces that Craig is “mad at Salley.”
That’s not what he said at all. He just said he doesn’t like her in a romantic way.
Austen tells her the things he said. Some are out of context, some are embellished, and some are lies.
Did he say tornado?? I don’t think he said that.
Rodrigo clocks in and announces that Charley is going on a date with him.
It goes down hill from there.
