Now that this last season, whatever it was, 37, of Beverly Hills is behind us, I had to do Mean Girls article about it. I’ve been slacking with this category lately. Definitely not for the lack of material.
I was really thinking and hoping that Beverly Hills should do a pause, like RHONY, and it seems that they actually are. I have read that it’s on pause until 2023, or later. There is no filming right now, which would be starting at this point, in November, to start airing mid-2023.
Rinna is coming completely even more unglued on social media. She’s been posting all kinds of weird crap, that she carries the show, something about regretting the munchausen syndrome accusation with Yolanda. It’s actually really disturbing. The way she behaves is just not normal. Not just Housewife not normal. I think she has some sort of disorder.
Beverly Hills went really ‘dark’ this season. (seems appropriate description right?) Resorting to all out bullying. Let’s not sugar coat it. Garcelle, Sutton and Crystal have been treated so terribly. How does Andy and Bravo think this is what viewers really want? Not to mention you have two of these ladies being minorities. Not a good look.
Honestly anyone that actually found that entertaining, and remain a fan of Rinna, Erika and Dijana, and didn’t see a problem with it, is probably a person that bullies others around and is most likely someone that suffers from a narcissistic disorder. (Maybe that’s why Andy thinks this is okay)
That’s a large part of the issue with that disease, (and it is a disease, just like alcoholism, hoarding, etc) is that they don’t think they do anything wrong, and don’t believe themselves to have any disorder, they think it’s ‘everyone else.’ Therefore they will never ever get help for it. They’re not suffering, why the hell do they care. Everything is someone else’s fault.
So it would stand to reason that one narc is not going to recognize another, or see a problem with their behavior.
I’m on several Bravo/Housewives FaceBook chat pages, and I really do think that the viewers with terrible abusive ‘mean girl’ personalities tend to side with Dijana, Kyle, Erika, Rinna, (Rinnika- as I have been calling them, they have basically become the same person this past season, walking around chirping after each other like two do-do birds) then you’re probably just not a nice person and think that bullying is acceptable, and most likely on the narc spectrum.
I got grounded for a week, and my FaceBook page is still on ‘restriction’ and being lowered to the bottom of the feeds for another two weeks, (‘Friend’ or follow me on my FaceBook pages if you’re not already so you don’t miss my posts!!) over poking fun at Erika for her pathetic fuckingggggg stories of these random old men she’s banging, and bragging about constantly. She’s do dang dumb and trashy, she really thinks this is cute. (So apparently you can’t say ‘slut’ on FaceBook FYI.)
People keep arguing with me about, of all things fucking Scarika, when I make comments how sad and pathetic it is for her that she brags about these booty calls, that I assume she is finding online.
And they just come over and have sex with her and leave. It doesn’t take a genius to figure this all out. It also doesn’t take a genius to figure out these dudes want nothing to do with taking her out on dates, and actually have to be seen with her in public.
2Does anyone really think, with how it’s completely obvious she has a terrible awful spending and shopping addiction (she bled that poor dude dry, I mean duhhhhh) that ANY fucking dude is going to want her? She tries so hard to play it off that she likes these random dudes that just bone her and leave.
As IF she isn’t dying for these dudes to drop cash on her.
Also, Kyle asked her in one of the first episodes of the season the age range of the guys, and she said older than her, younger than Tom, so 60 – 70 range. So the reason I bring this up, is these chicks that seem to be obsessed with skank, that I was communicating with on a FaceBook chat, like CAME after me and to her defense as to “how I know this???”
How do I know they’re older, and how do I know they’re booty calls, and how DARE I call her a slut?? Okay, so she told Kyle they were older, people need to pay more attention. And she has been describing her interactions as ‘just having sex’ not ‘dating’ and I would describe someone as a slut that is doing this on the regular and bragging to the world about it. Call me crazy.
So back to my point, I really do think whatever Housewife you go HARD to defend, and try to paint them as a great person, KIND of represents what kind of person you are.
I just don’t know how any normal viewers can defend the behavior of Rinnika or Dijana, or even Kyle on this past season. Being a mean nasty bitchy mean fuck, to the less confrontational and nicer women, to see how far you can push them, does not entertaining TV make.
And it really disappoints me. While filming was taking place, Andy and producers could have intervened with these women, and told them to knock it off. This isn’t what they want to represent.
But, they didn’t. They allowed all of this really odd, trashy-like aggressiveness.
They allowed threats of physical violence towards Sutton from Sanela Dijana. (the head butting commentary, several times) Is this really representation of Beverly Hills, CA? What are people thinking that are watching this in other countries?? They think Americans are a bunch of uneducated wanna-be fucking thugs, that’s what.
They allowed ACTUAL physical violence when Kyle guzzled down her typical four or five margs, and proceeded to yank and jolt Sutton around by her toothpicky arms, and accused her of lying about having miscarriages. Her behavior was despicable. She called Sanela ‘soulless’ when she WAS indeed acting soulless that night. Yes, Sutton did get a little smart with her about being at the party, when she sent a group text going on and on that she was bleeding half to death. Which, makes it seem like it was a gross exaggeration, let’s use our heads here please.
Thought Kyle ‘respected’ people saying how they feel.
That’s what she said in this yap, about Sanela Dijana calling Sutton a c***, and topped it off with this nasty, smirky sneer. It was gross behavior for a woman with of this age with four daughters she needs to set an example for. She condones name calling??
Again, Bravo is aired all over the world. Viewers in other countries have to be thinking, I thought Beverly Hills CA was this bougie, classy and refined area of the United States?
At Garcelle’s birthday party, Sanela Dijana (her real name – it’s not even pronounced ‘Diana’ it’s pronounced DeeAnna) I sure as FUCK hope she didn’t adopt the name ‘Diana’ after Princess Diana. What a fucking insult.
Anyway, when she was talking to Kyle and Mario, she EVEN indicated that she kills people that piss her off. And she didn’t say it in a facetiousy kind of way, like when normal people say “I’m going to kill you if you spill that…” or whatever.
I’d have to play the scene again for the direct quote, but she was referring to Sutton, (of course, she understood the assignment, bully Sutton around like an evil 6th grader at recess) and talking about the head butting, which let’s face it, she really thought she was coming off really cool and playful, as disturbing as that sounds. But she was eluding to when someone pisses her off, she “moves in for the kill.” Kyle and Mario looked at her, stunned. And you cannot tell me they don’t look mortified. Here is the shot of their expressions during that scene.
Did they say anything to indicate to her that was a disturbing thing to say? She’s not in war torn Bosnia anymore. Did Kyle grab her by the arms and shake her around for threatening to murder her so-called friend? Keep in mind she hadn’t even known Sanela that long at this point.
It really amplifies the inauthenticity of the shows now. Kyle knew that was a fucked up thing to say. At least I HOPE SO!! She didn’t call her out at all. And Bravo even had zero issue with playing the scene. I don’t know why more people were not disturbed by that. I don’t recall seeing a lot on social media about it when that aired.
Because if you ask me, she was being 100 percent serious. She said it with a complete straight face.
But because Sanela was brought on the show as one of ‘cool mean girls’ and was told to pick on Sutton and Garcelle, Kyle and Mario just rolled with it.
Just like they rolled with Erika telling Jax to “get the fuck outta here.” Same reason. They needed to side with Erika and against Sutton and Garcelle, no matter what.
Kyle and Mario are awful people. So sick of all the SM commentary of people that are actually watching that real estate show on Netflix. If I read one more time, “OMG Alexia sounds just like Kyle,” I’m going to lose my shit. Who cares. Apparently she acts like an entitled brat, and does a lot pissing and moaning. That definitely does sound like Kyle. (I know the comments are referring to her raspy voice, again who cares.)
And I don’t even want to get started on Rinna screaming ate Sutton several times over that WWHL episode when she merely called her out on her hypocrisy and the stupidity of the “you didn’t text a thank you for the sauce.”
Why Sutton apologized for that twelve different times, over the season I just do not get. Her point was valid and correct. She should have stuck by it. Rinna kept at it with her simply because she could.
4Okay, so long story short, I went on a little longer than I wanted to, while I do still watch my Housewives, do my recaps, and think the concept makes for good TV, the shows have gone down hill over the past few years.
Bravo really needs to do better and realize they are representing these cites and regions, as well as representing American women.
Allowing and even encouraging women to behave and conduct themselves in such a trashy and malicious manner, to keep their spots on the shows, and think this is what viewers and fans want to see, is not a smart move.
Andy Cohen, still love ya, but do better. Be a nice upstanding Jewish boy. Make your mom proud. I can’t imagine she thinks this is the way to go, and wants you to represent women this way. You even have a daughter now. Would you want her to be bulled and tormented like this?
And if you can’t do better, then Sutton and Garcelle really need to opt out of their participation.
