Real Housewives of Potomac Finale – 3/24/24

Here we go – finale night! The camera crew was still conveniently on hand and filming was resumed to catch the brawl aftermath that ensues when Deborah confronts Candiace.

You know this Deborah chick would have been smarter to just keep her mouth shut. I’m surprised she had the balls to even show up this season, after her humiliation of accusing both (Happy) Eddie and Chris of being flirty with her when footage shows neither even looked her direction. Shouldn’t she have maybe approached these ladies and apologized?? Said something to address the elephant?

Whatever, I don’t know. She wants another 15 minutes of infamy I guess. Hopefully after this, she goes away and never comes back to Bravo.

I want to address this real quick too. You saw on the updates at the end that Gizelle’s father passed away shortly after his surgery last year. So I am sickened, and I hope this comes up at the reunion, that Wendy made disparaging comments on last week’s episode about not caring about his sudden cancer diagnosis, nor feeling any sympathy for Gizelle, due to her and how her witchy bitchy weirdo mother were treated in Texas when her she had a minor ten minute procedure after an elective surgery.

No one cared because, no one cared.

I hope she takes some accountability and some sort of back-pedaling remarks on that.

Gizelle leaves to fly back to Atlanta, in heels that she can’t walk in, directly after the ‘fashions’ are shown.

Deborah is confused if she was thinking that Candiace is not confrontational, and won’t call her names to her face.

Ashley does a pretty good job at looking in shock that it went this far and to this level. BullSHIT. She knew after Oscar downed a few cosmos, that she would have the nerve to approach Candiace. She may or may not have influenced her, but we do know this was the sole purpose of her invitation.

Her excuse was pretty flimsy of ‘we’re all adults here, I thought they could just avoid each other, it’s a large area.’ Okay Ashley stop playing. She knows Deborah is a loose cannon and desperate to be on Bravo.

Not the drink throwing again. These bitches need to stop wasting cocktails. It sounds like when she threw her drink, she literally threw her drink. Glass and all, which Kierna ended up being in the line of fire for.

This bitch wasn’t messing around. Only amateurs toss the liquid from the glass.

Candiace is really good, or bad, depending on how you look at it, with the name-calling. Maybe that’s why I like her. None of her smears are wrong in my opinion. With the exception of referring to her as ‘Grover.’ I think she looks more like Oscar, the dude that lives in the trash can.

When someone tries to interfere, and make a ruckus in your marriage, or relationship, over something they made up, or they’re just a disgusting jealous skank, it can bring out the worst in you.

Kierna has to goes the hospital due to the blood gushing out of her head, and gets whisked away in an ambulance. I think this is a Housewife first where someone goes to the hospital, that actually needs to go to the hospital.

Deborah’s side varies from Kierna’s, she threw the drink only on Candiace, then Kierna punched her, that’s when she got the glass to the head.

Wendy is in the bathroom screaming at the top of her lungs recounting the events in her Dalmatian dress with her titties practically all the way out. But whatever, who can blame her? Did you see at the end her stupid talk show is aired on her You Tube channel.

Kierna’s version is that she merely tried to hold Deborah back from Candiace. Since we have actually footage of her lying last season, who would you be more inclined to believe? And if Kierna punched her, wouldn’t Deborah have some sort of injuries to her face?? Or can they just not tell?

Ashley in her yap claims she will be needing to reevaluate this fake friendship.

Great, Ashley, how positively noble of you.

I think this occurrence was the straw that broke the camel’s back in Candiace’s decision to leave Housewives. She doesn’t want to be a Kyle Richards or Tamra Judge and be doing this shit for fifteen fucking years. I’ve thought she was too good for this show for a while now, and could do so much better. Bravo kept her around even though she refused to play the game of being ‘messy’ as they put it, and making shit up for a ‘story line.’ She made a good Housewife because the ladies were all jealous and obsessed with her, (wealthy, teeny and adorable, talented singer, educated…) so they constantly created drama around her.

So in other words she didn’t have to sell her soul and integrity to Bravo in order to be a successful Housewife. It can be done.

So it’s this ‘Influential Women of Potomac’ event that Mia, of all people is sponsoring. I know this was fun for them to get into cool sexy outfits and channel past and present iconic women and celebs, so I’m not throwing shade on this concept, just again, Mia? The trashiest Potomac Housewife (Ashley is second) and one of the top three trashiest gold-digging all time Housewives.

Especially given what we find out about their what really seems to be some sort of a disturbing marriage ‘arrangement.’

Okay whatever, I’m trying to deal with it. I’m sure anyway, this publication didn’t actually contact Mia Thornton for this honor. But this is D.C. area, so who the fuck knows. Standards are low at best.

Karen is doing that weird anxious contorted face thing since Charisse is present. What DOES this woman have on Karen, and why does she not just spill IT?? Maybe this is more fun.

And the boot? She claims she got injured at the Fashion Show Fight when trying to stop Candiace from hurling a champagne bottle at Deborah. I think she just wanted to over dramatize this is an effort to support the narrative that it was all Candiace’s fault. I literally think she’s wearing it because her pedi got bitched up.

After Deborah posted several social media comments defending herself, Ashley decides that she and Deborah are on a break. She’s on some fucking Trashley soapbox saying she can’t get behind her behavior. Okay settle down there Miss Messiest Housewife of All Time. Although, I guess to be fair, I don’t think she’s ever been involved in a physical altercation.

Gizelle might want to consider working on her cankle situation. Especially if she wants to wear these five inch heels constantly. That’s bitchy and I don’t care. I wasn’t the only one thinking it.

I don’t think they should worry about a ‘stain’ on G&A Gizelle. G&A has already left a stain on G&A.

Some of these looks at this event, I just can’t support. These ladies need to learn to dress for their body types. Or stop wearing dresses from three years ago that no longer fit them.

I’m kind of feeling like Mariah Carey had some snarky things to say about Robyn emulating her. I don’t think Mariah is known for having a sweet and fun-loving disposition.

Candiace gives her side, and as you might expect, she’s full of her very Candiace insults.

This Cal dude is Gizelle’s ‘stylist?’ Girl fire his ass. Although this green dress isn’t terrible. She definitely needs to stick with this length, it is a lot more flattering. She has been doing better, but when she wore that bold black and white striped super short jersey dress recently, I put her back to square one. That was a catastrophe.

Mia’s dress? Did she happen to have looked in a mirror before she left her ‘penthouse?’ Maybe she should try to squeeze in some gym time.

As they start discussing the fashion show events, Ashley says that ‘K’ as they’re suddenly calling her, had to get twelve stitches. Twelve stitches is a lot! I’ll have to look up and see if she pursued any kind of battery type of law suit against Deborah.

Wendy tells Ashley it seems that Deborah came with an agenda.

Okay, I’m going to do the Housewife asking myself questions and answering them myself thing.

Does Candiace go really low with her insults and name calling? Yes.

Was it beyond odd and fucking stupid that Deborah accused Chris last season of hitting on her when she knows they were surrounded by cameras that showed otherwise? Yes.

Should Deborah just suck it up, and deal with Candiace’s anger and ridicule, especially since she’s made no effort to take back her comments or apologize?

Yes.

Wendy does her smug face twitch as Gizelle talks about her dad and thanks the ladies who reached out to her to wish him well and send prayers.

Yes we know Wendy your circus freak mom didn’t get enough attention and sympathy to your liking for her ten minute mystery procedure that you’re comparing to literal brain surgery. Sit your fake ass down.

Mia gets the floor and gives her speech of blablabla, whatever she said, I couldn’t concentrate looking at the horrific dress that was not doing her problem areas any favors. Gordon then takes the mic and spews out additional blablabla about how great of a wife and mom Mia is, and refers to her as a role model. A role model??

Unfaithful to her husband throughout her whole marriage, and doesn’t know the father of her child?? My how standards are lowered in this day and age as to what constitutes an upstanding wife and mom.

Reminds me of my cheater ex and his ugly cheater girlfriend. Ex-girlfriend, who knows, there’s not much difference when it comes to their fake skeevy relationships. I guess she’s a stellar wife and mom too. They both think they’re these respectable decent people, but in reality they’re the jokes of their trashy neighborhood.

Mia’s face when he speaks looks so put off and annoyed. He’s clearly kissing her ass so she doesn’t divorce him.

Well, fast forward to three months later. This ‘picking up the cameras’ thing now seems to be the norm, as opposed to the exception when drama happens during the off-filming months.

News broke of Mia filing for divorce, which I think we all knew was coming after their positions and ownership at ‘The Joint’ fell apart shortly after filming wrapped last season.

It struck me as interesting that there was never a mention of this chain Mia bragged about a lot, and always painted the picture that she and Gordon owned the facilities, that they co-owned with Gordon’s family. Mia always talked about it as if Gordon were the sole owner of the business. Why do people do that shit? Like stop posing. It just makes you look like an idiot when the truth is exposed. And the truth will be exposed.

Like don’t say you own a beach house if you don’t own a beach house.

Are Housewives divorcing their husbands really newsworthy anymore? What’s more newsworthy is a Housewife not divorcing their husbands.

So they get down to it.

We get treated to really awkward home argument interaction with Mia and Gordon where the tension is palpable.

There’s a lot of tit for tat and he-said-she said, which is usually how this all goes.

Gordon didn’t appreciate, imagine that, when Mia said on camera that she ‘might have’ married Gordon for his money.

Gordon then needed to retaliate by dialing up TMZ, and giving them the lo-down, which kind of does seem like an immature way of handling your marital issues.

It kind of pisses me off, as I mentioned, how much they are coming off as posers, which annoys me. I think they have mislead the audience into thinking they had anything close to a happy normal marriage. And now we’re finding out that it was basically all a lie from day one, and she’s been having an affair for years, with some fucking dude from high school.

Gordon is pissed off. This ain’t no fakery goin’ on here right now. He is mad AF.

I think he feels jerked around and used. I get that. I feel bad for him.

Mia seems to be somber, or acting somber.

She keeps repeating about sleeping in her daughter’s room.

She’s even been bringing her kids around this dude, before she was officially separated from Gordon. I mean really. That is skanky.

Gordon says he was aware she was having an affair when they first got married. When they first got married. What? Wow. You know, once a fucking ho, always a fucking ho. It’s not like bitches outgrow it or anything or even having kids makes any type of difference. Yuck.

He shares how he had prostrate trouble when he was 70 (so it seems like Jacqueline’s disclosure of his age was more accurate than Mia’s) and he had told Mia she was free to do whatever as long as she’s discreet and she doesn’t flaunt it around the kids. I’m assuming he was hoping she wouldn’t take him up on it.

Gordon has had it with this ho. But then again why would he say something like that to her if he wasn’t prepared for the consequences?

It just seems really dysfunctional and frankly kind of gross. Especially when there are children involvded.

But I guess some people just like living like this. Is it ‘exciting?’ I guess??

It’s just not how I would want to roll. I think two people committed to each other and treating each other with love and respect and not even thinking about trudging across the lot to bang the town ho, is more ‘exciting.’ I would rather be a respectable human.

So Gordon does a lot of recapping as to what’s been going on, which seems to be less of a convo with Mia, and more of an update to the audience.

I honestly don’t think that we needed to see this necessarily did we? It’s kind of hard to watch and I’m feeling like it’s shit I don’t even want to know.

Then he drops the bomb that her middle child the older son, may not even be Gordon’s and may be this wanna-be rapper dude’s kid.

So gross. Mia has always given me the icks.

I don’t think Gordon is an angel, but I think he has a point. She started making her Bravo bucks, he lost his The Joint gig, he’s getting older, so she don’t need him anymore.

He was perfect, though when he scraped her out of the gutter, and was providing her with her bougee job.

Mia makes sure that she announces that she’s now giving Gordon money. Okay Mia, can I get you a medal? You’re married. What’s his is yours and what’s yours is his. I guess it was okay when she was spending his money?

She keeps dangling this ‘thing’ that he did to cause the rift with his siblings, thus causing them to lose their jobs (and nanny) without telling us what it is.

She brags in her yap how she kept this side piece all these years that promised he would wait for her to leave Gordon. WOW.

I don’t even have words. Like I said I don’t think Gordon is an angel, I’m sure he’s annoying, but I do feel bad for him.

Is anyone considering this child and how confusing this is for him to find out like this his dad may not even be his dad?
