Well, everyone is going home, back to Potomac. Bright side, there will be lotsa room for Candiace now, and she shouldn’t be bitching about having to share a bed with Wendy.
Wendy is yelling at a producer to get her a ticket home. What does she think this is? Below Deck? No, the producers do not have a pocket full of plane tickets like Cap Lee does, Wendy.
She runs off ranting somewhere about plane tickets and being a professor, and Mia is in the car crying to Jacqueline.
Already having deja vu with Karen being friends with both of the combatters, and she’s in the middle with Mia bitching at her for “not standing up for her or taking her side” or whatever the hell she was saying. Karen returns to the table. The ladies that are left are determined to not let this shit ruin their night. Dessert has been ordered.
Robyn accuses Karen of not trying to diffuse the situation, which is strange because she was standing there smirking and recording the whole thing. Or does she think this was Karen’s responsibility or obligation since she is friends with both of them? I guess.
Wendy is more focused on water being thrown in her face than a purse being thrown at her. Ashley thinks the purse throwing was more of an ‘assault.’ Robyn and Gizelle seem unbothered by what just went down. I’m guessing they’re just happy neither of them were involved.
They load up into the vans to go back to the very minute and embarrassing house that they are stuck having to stay in.
Everyone asks Mia if she’s all right, as if she wasn’t the one that started the whole fucking thing, trying to get under Wendy’s skin, and when she was successful, got physical by throwing water and purses. And do you know how much it pains me to side with Wendy??
What Wendy did do wrong is, she should have just left the table and went back to the house, did the calling and crying to the husband, husband pretends to care, pretend packed, pretend she’s leaving, ritual. You know the drill.
While she pretended she was leaving the dinner several times, she kept going back for more. The producer encouraged her to go back the first time she stomped away. Gee I wonder why that would be, why would they possibly have wanted her to remain with Mia?
They decide in the Mia car that “Karen was the only one that could diffuse the situation. When you straddle the fence you show both people you don’t have support for either one.” I mean they are just throwing Karen RIGHT under that bus.
Mia won’t let this narrative go that Wendy was ‘disrespecting’ or whatever her fucking husband. Woman, Wendy was pointing out that the streets are talking that you all are swingers !! How is that disrespecting your husband? It’s not. It’s actually both of your nasty asses!! “She allowed his ass to be filleted and she doesn’t see a problem with that.” (maybe Karen’s heard the talk too, you do have to admit Mia and Gordon being swingers does NOT sound far fetched.
So we’re back at the house so we can continue the fight here. Candiace has arrived so this should get more interesting. She’s one of Wendy’s allies at least. I missed when they became besties. Were they last season?
Wendy goes back to the house, changes out of that lime yellow satin atrocity, and leaves for a hotel with no drama, believe it or not.
These poor ladies wake up to have a fucking smorgasbord of breakfast foods laid (lobster – no less) out for them without lifting one fucking finger. They sit INSIDE the house to eat. I hope at some point they will be leaving this house and enjoying the Florida sunshine. Or maybe they’d like to sit in here and bitch and moan about where they’re pooping again, and how hot it is in the house.
Why do we have to rehash the Monique and Candiace argument again and again, and compare it to this, and call out everyone, and their sister for being a hypocrite in whose side they chose then, versus whose side they’re choosing now.
I can’t keep this straight as to who was on whose side then, and who’s on whose side now, and how that makes them a hypocrite. I do not care. Gizelle thinks Ashley is a hypocrite. Ashley thinks Gizelle is a hypocrite. Oh my God make it stop! Obviously they choose the side of who the fuck they like better! This isn’t complicated! They’re all fucking hypocrites!! These shows should change their name the ‘Real Hypocrites of Wherever’ They wouldn’t even have to change the acronym !
Candiace really is confused about the “mountain of drama” that is going down already?? Candiace simply put, they went to dinner. Why don’t the Housewives just start grabbing a pop tart at dinner time on trips. This is getting so stale, every single dinner gathering on every fucking trip on every franchise. Is this just me that’s bored with it? Or I know, why can’t they all separate for dinner, and all the little cliques just stay together? I wouldn’t be mad if every fucking meal didn’t turn into a brawl, I promise. Does Bravo really think this is what the fans want to see on every episode?
Okay they ARE actually going outside to lounge by the pool. Finally!!!
So Wendy is at the hotel. Since Candiace is on her ‘team’ she is upset abut this, and is bothered that everyone is just carrying on as if they don’t care. Girl, that’s because they don’t care. Karen is her only other ‘friend’ in this group. Wendy is really odd, and it’s time we all just admit that. You can like her all you want, but she’s weird and not nice.
FaceBook Housewife chat groups have been discussing her candle whatever things she’s doing, and her interest in starting this Nigerian themed restaurant (when she’s already a college professor, like isn’t that enough?) are because she is trying to “build a brand” based on her persona similar to Bethenney Frankel on RHONY. And that could be. I guess it makes sense for her to be trying to start these random side hustle type things. If this is true, and this really is her goal, I see at least two problems with this, and how she is not going to be another Bethenney.
First of all, she’s unpleasant and unlikable. She almost always has a scowl on her face, and a chip on her shoulder. So she isn’t going to be able to market herself successfully. People at least liked and respected Bethenney in her early days, before she was successful and got really extra. And I think she gained respect because she was single, and doing it all on her own, and she hustled her skinny ass off. Wendy, on the other hand, has no hustle, has to consult with Eddie about everything, which is off putting, I think. When she was doing the candle thing last season, she told Eddie he needed to do all of the business type legwork, and needed to put up the cash. And he did, since he’s a little bit afraid of her, and was in the dog house because he got busted hitting up chicks online. Who respects a woman that sat there and ordered her pussy whipped husband to do and pay for everthing for her stupid online candles?
Secondly, of why she should just give up this branding herself, is that she’s just doing random shit she’s not passionate about. Who the hell is ‘passionate’ about fucking candles? Bethenney was passionate about her bottled low-calorie pre-mixed Margarita idea, and there really was a hole in the market at that time, with buying a pre-made margartia. And the bottled mixers you get in the grocery stores, are high in calories, and loaded with sugar. I used to buy the Skinny Girl almost regularly in the warm weather months, my sister and I were into it, (before she became an asshole) but then started using the ‘Limeade’ brand juice instead, and mixing with tequila, so much more economical – the ‘Skinny Girl Margarita’ was $12.00, for your wine size bottle, so only four small drinks. I’m sure it’s much more now. That was like five or six years ago I stopped buying it. (she has since sold the brand) I’ll have to look next time in the liquor store. I don’t live in a liquor -at -the -grocery store state, unfortunately.
Here is my Margrita recipe using the above ingredients. You can tweak it however you like it, but this is so much better than using those ‘mixes’ which are too sweet for me. But if you like a little sweetness, just add a little honey or simple syrup. (boil equal amount of sugar and water, then cool.)
And thirdly, it doesn’t seem to me she’s really a ‘business smarts’ type person either. She’s book smart. So stay being a teacher, and a sucky political commentator. Sorry but when I saw her on that ‘other’ news channel, she basically got ate up. Her braids and makeup looked good though!! LOL !!!
Anyway, I don’t think she’s really ‘passionate’ about this Nigerian restaurant idea. Yes, she’s Nigerian, but she doesn’t come off to me as a foodie or interested in cooking. Most people that want to start restaurants are. And can you imagine going into business with her? Poor Peter if this thing ever comes to fruition, which I really don’t think it is. Eddie already told her ‘no, she’s not allowed.’ And like I said, I don’t think she was really that interested in it, and I don’t foresee it being that lucrative.
So that’s my take on why she should just stop, and concentrate on what she knows. Maybe if she comes up with an original idea, like Bethenney and the Margarita? Maybe? If Eddie says it’s okay and allows her to. Also Bethenney didn’t have three children when she was doing this either. She needs to prioritze.
Back to Potomac, and Wendy vs Mia. Yes, Mia was in the wrong the previous evening, however, no one likes Wendy. She’s unlikable, she’s unpleasant, she’s condescending, she’s miserable… And these are facts.
She’s going to dick around and lose her job at Johns Hopkins, with the way she behaved on last week’s ep, then she’ll really have to peddle those stupid overpriced candles. Or maybe that’s what she wants. Last season wasn’t she whining about not wanting to professor anymore, and concentrate on selling candles and shit? Clearly JHU is embarrassed by her or they wouldn’t have flashed that blurb at the end of last week’s episode.
And here we go, Candiace with her ‘hypocrisy’ complaint now, and crying, dabbing at no tear, because this is ‘triggering’ for her.
They call Wendy, and she’s been “crying all night.” Which I find hard to believe. They tell her about the beach party Mia has planned, and they want her to attend. Karen lets Mia know that they invited her.
Mia needs to realize, as the hostess and planner of this trip, this is just so uncouth of her to uninvite Wendy now, due to an argument that SHE started, where SHE proceeded to throw shit at her. Mia still is sticking with making this whole thing over Wendy’s comments being ‘disrespectful’ about her and Gordon’s swinging rumors, after she threw water in her face, and criticized her for “not calling Peter.”
I actually think she got off pretty easy. She tries to put Karen on a guilt trip for supporting Wendy. Now Karen calls Wendy and withdraws the invitation. So Mia really does expect her to sit in her hotel and not participate in any group activities? Didn’t Wendy leave the house on her own accord?
What would have been Mia’s plan had Wendy not opted to leave the house?
I guess I missed Mia telling Karen that Wendy could NOT attend. At first she said, it’s not okay, it’s your birthday, or something to that effect. I’m having a hard time understanding what she is saying for some reason. Bravo, let’s do subtitles when they start mumbling. I’m guessing she’s mumbling everything because she knows she’s sounding like and idiot. I also think she doesn’t want to be in the presence of Wendy, because she knows she was wrong, and doesn’t want her bringing up the swinging or whatever rumors again. Since it’s true and she’s embarrassed. Not sure why she’s so embarrassed by it though? Usually I thought people that engaged in this type of activity didn’t really care.
Why would Wendy even WANT to attend outings with the group at this point? Why would Wendy be wanting to beg and grovel to be included?? It seems like it should be way beneath her. She really should be on a plane back to Potomac. Guess the producer didn’t cough up her plane ticket. She should’ve called Captain Lee.
Ashley, Candiace and Karen want to have lunch with Wendy, and I guess they’re not going to the beach if Wendy isn’t allowed to go, per Mia’s instructions.
Mia goes over to their van, and lets them know, except for Karen, (because she let her know before hand, which makes no sense) that if they’re in support of Wendy, they can’t come back to the house and need to find somewhere else to stay. Or something like that. I had to replay to catch what she said. They really do need subtitles there. Whoever at Bravo that’s in charge of that, needs to be fired. Mia is talking really fast, and mumbling on this episode.
Mia is not the hostess with the mostest. She IS the hostess with the mostest feet though. Ashley and Candiace make fun of her large feet. She probably gets a lot of good deals on shoes being on clearance. I wonder what size she wears? I wear a 6 which is smaller than average I guess, and I tend to make out on shoe clearances.
I was curious and just looked it up. 8.5 – 9 is average in America, and 8 is average world wide for women shoe sizes. That’s higher than I thought. I was thinking 7ish. 9 is average?? Wow. I think my ex-husband wore a 9. And yes I know what you’re thinking, and yes, you are right.
Ashley texts Mia from the restaurant to let her know whatta dick she’s acting like. It’s really really hard to side with Mia. Even for a Wendy disliker like me.
Gizelle says she thinks she saw Mia and Jacqueline showering together from the window. is there a window in the shower? They deny it but it seems like they were. Mia is a kind of sexually free, so I can see it. I don’t know why she doesn’t just own the swinging thing either.
Meanwhile at the restaurant, Wendy meets the others and is now using the word ‘violate.’
Oh yes she is.
Wendy shares some juicy sex secrets about the dynamic with Mia, Gordon and Peter Thomas, that he had shared with her. They used to vacay together, and Mia did some ‘snake shit’ to Peter’s then-girlfriend? Is that what she said? Now Wendy is on the mumbling bandwagon. Okay so I don’t know what that means I’m going to have to admit. I guess just something sneaky? Then something about Peter’s her ‘brother’ and I don’t know what she said again, because it was mumbled. It sounds juicy but I don’t know what she’s talking about. Karen’s and Ashley’s face looks like it’s quite scandalous.
Ashley says in her yap that this must be some serious embarrassing gossip that Wendy has on her and Gordon, because she turned into the Hulk at the table, which is kind of accurate. Wendy kind of struck a nerve, to say the least. But not to beat a dead horse, Mia started with Wendy first. Wendy finished it.
Mia has been all over social media apologizing up and down for disrespecting Wendy, since this episode aired, and doing major damage control. It would have been better to be apologetic that night or the next day, as opposed to seven months later, but whatever, who’s counting.
Charrisse responds to Ashley’s text on Mia’s behalf and apologizes for telling them they couldn’t come back to the house. They were all bitching about it, so they should be glad.
Wendy can just NOT with the “I wrote a book” thing. We all know they don’t actually ‘write’ these dang books.
Mia claims that she’s a people pleaser. She is so not a people pleaser. Just like Lisa Barlow on SLC is not an empath, Mia Thorton is not a ‘pleaser.’ People pleasers don’t sit and try to cause a ruckus with another person, and get all up in their business trying to embarrass them for the hell of it.
People pleasers don’t announce to their guests they need to find another place to stay. (People ‘angriers’ do that.) Who exactly is she ‘pleasing?’ A people pleasing hostess would be tripping all over herself to make sure all of her guests were happy and comfortable.
Now Mia the self proclaimed ‘people pleaser’ wants to ditch the birthday celly for Karen, since she’s not defending her. Again, NOT a people pleaser thing.
Mia is twerking is a very cheeky bathing suit and Robyn is wondering where are these lumps?? I was thinking the same thing, I must admit.
The lunch with the Wendy crowd, looks boring and awkward with the other ladies at the restaurant. They’re like not talking and sucking on their drinks. However, it’s poppin at the beach. They call a random dude over to take their picture and Robyn starts literally petting him and hanging on him.
Why, if Ashley is always cold does she dress so scant, and never ever can bring a little sweater or denim jacket with her?? It’s always cold in restaurants with the AC on. I’m so tired of seeing her half naked and shivering. It’s making ME cold.
Candiace takes Wendy with her to meet Trina, the famous 90’s rapper who I have definitely heard of before. They look funny together because Candiace is so teeny and Wendy is so not. Does this seem like an odd friendship? Maybe not, they do have similarities. They just can’t share clothes. Or shoes.
The song with the Trina collab is cute. So this chick just happened to be in Miami, close to where they were staying?
I guess it’s officially Karen’s birthday now. Wasn’t sure, she’s been saying it’s her birthday for like the past four days.
Karen gets summoned upstairs by Jacqueline and Mia, as Jacqueline speaks on Mia’s behalf as she sits there with kind of a weird and dumb look on her face.
“She’s all in her feelings right now that you left and went to hang out with Wendy.”
Mia now decides she can speak, and tells Karen that she’s “straddling the fence.” Is that a thing? I’ve never heard that expression. Why does she look like she’s missing teeth?
Jacqueline doesn’t want to proceed with this convo, because she can see how stupid it is. Mia does not. She wants Wendy to own up to what she did, however is Mia owning what SHE did?
Karen is right in her yap ridiculing Mia for thinking everyone needs to “ask her permission” to do anything on this trip. Again not behavior of a people pleaser.
Mia spills that she is no longer interested in hosting her birthday party due to her not being loyal to her and her only. I thought Karen was going to go off, but she tells her it’s fine. Unless it’s one of those IT’S NOT FINE! kind of “it’s fine”
Yeah, judging by her face, it probably is. Mia says the ‘birthday party’ was at the beach earlier. I’m confused. I thought there was some ‘white party’ that was her birthday event. Mia proceeds to complain and be pissed that Karen had lunch with Wendy, and “picked her side.”
Karen storms out of the room. She does not seem ‘pleased’ to me. Perhaps Mia should look up the definition people pleasing.
The End
