Why is everyone STILL worried about how Chris is being “paid” in his husbandger responsibilities?
Isn’t it sort of like a spouse helping out another in their business? Would it be different if Candiace was helping Chris ? Clearly they’re doing this to save money from having to hire an actual manager. Although I am not a huge fan of hers, I am trying to be objective in saying, she’s damned if she does and she’s damned if she doesn’t, with these women. If the video thing would have appeared over the top and costly, and she had some hot shot manager she was paying, she would have been accused of her mom “still supporting her.” That is still how I say she should have addressed and squashed that “low budget” argument.
Like “ yeah it is low budget, because I AM on a budget.” Can’t imagine anyone would not appreciate that. I feel like they all know what it’s like to be struggling at some point.
(not that they’re struggling but you know what I mean) And again they all go nuts when they think her mom is helping her out financially. Although not sure why, it’s really none of their damned business. It comes off as pure jealousy.
They talk about the possibility of bringing another child into the universe. I don’t mean to judge, and not sure they care what I think, but I do think that this is a TERRIBLE IDEA. Does anyone think that it’s not? They still do not seem to have the greatest relationship if you ask me. I hate to get on my narcissistic soap box again, but he really does seem to fall into that spectrum. I do believe Robyn in that Juan wasn’t around much while their sons were small. And he seems to get extremely defensive and pissed off about it when she brings it up. I’m sure he’s embarrassed. Not being around when your kids were kids, and not really seeming to care or be involved IS embarrassing. So he should be. But you know what dude? Suck it the fuck up. These are decisions YOU made as an adult. Instead of getting all put off and crying about it, and denying it, just apologize and tell her you would not do that again if you were to have another child together. Again I think it’s a bad idea, but whatever. I actually predict them not being together too much longer. I feel like when you try to get back together with an ex (I’m sure Gizelle can attest to this as well) yeah it’s great, because you don’t have to go through that whole “getting to know each other” ritual, but you find that the same problems and issues are still there that you divorced over in the first place. I feel like Robyn is beginning to see this.
I really don’t think they’re talking about it much. Juan gets so defensive when she brings it up, she’s probably reluctant to.

You’re right Juan, with an infant and a toddler to deal with, she really SHOULD have been giving your more attention. Because it is always about the narcissist in the relationship, when they’re not constantly the center of attention.
So they’re going to this Karen 25 year event, with them pissed off at each other. And we already know there is other husband drama to be taking place …
Everyone arrives bitching about the lack of curb appeal of the venue, and then the stairs.
Mia “does not like stairs.” Are these ladies grown women or toddlers ??? they’re incapable of navigating stairs. I get it. heels, boots, but STILL … if you cannot walk in your five inch heels then perhaps don’t wear them ?? all housewife shows, always always they complain about stairs.

My ex’s excuse was lifting weights and/or being a cop. These are excuses for men not wanting to wear their ring so no one knows they’re married. But Enough about me.
I do kind of like Karen’s side hair piece thing. The up the stairs entrance is sort of awkward. Maybe wear a dress you can navigate around in.

Oh Thank God, Michael’s arrival finally. Chris is probably like six drinks in, so that’s perfect. And most likely NOT on purpose. Everyone seems very excited to see him. Not sure why.
Dinner looks awkward. It is getting awkwarder. Juan suggests they squash the year-old argument.
Seeing the play back for the 9000th time, it does seem like Chris unnecessarily gets all worked up.
Michael thinks Chris’ apology was back-handed, and it just wasn’t good enough for him.
Ashley disappears just in time for the real drama. Robyn addresses that Michael did do something wrong as well. Candiace feels this is white privilege at play. She storms off.

They decide – “now they’re ok” Michael hugs Juan. He has a weird look in his eyes.
Gizelle who could not climb stairs, is dancing. Robyn makes excuses for not starting “wedding plans.”

Juan calls an uber and leaves. Seemed like he barely spoke to her at all except to bite her head off about the wedding ring convo. She looks beyond pissed off and annoyed.
