Hot or Not ??? SLC Reunion 2022

Where EVEN to begin with the horrifficness of these outfits on this reunion. And I do not care if that’s a word. I am making ‘horrifficness’ a thing, when discussing these reunion looks.

I only have one that I even somewhat sort of liked. Guess I’ll save it for the end. Let’s just get the one that I really think HAS to go down in Housewife history as the worst reunion whatever- this -was (is this also the first non-dress to be worn??) look ever, since the beginning of Housewife Time in 2006.

And that’s a pretty bad honor, Meredith Marks! A few weeks ago, I read that her son Brooks’ mentor, Christian Cowan, designed this cartoonish looking very very strange ‘pantsuit.’ It’s disappointing that a designer that Brooks would consider to be a ‘mentor’ would think this design looked anything close to being presentable on screen for the reunion. Come on, the ladies need to BRING IT, to the reunions!

I don’t know what this was but it wasn’t “IT.” Brooks, get a new mentor !!

The ‘sleeves’ which were total feathers (enough with the feathers already, SLC girls!) The color combo with the teal and the emerald green netting underneath was dreadful. The pants did not fit right at all.

They appeared to be made from polyester or other cheap fabric. They literally reminded me of the poly “stretch pants” I called them, that my mom used to make for me in grade school. I hated them. They were just so uncool, and even then I was trying to be a budding fashionista. And those pants were NOT working for eight year old me.

They were even complete with that weird pleat in the front.

The jacket was also extremely ill fitting. It is Brooks’ ‘mentor’ was responsible for this costumey strangeness, that probably meant Meredith knew it was bad, but was feeling obligated to wear it.

I looked up this designer, Christian Cowan, and you can totally see Meredith’s disaster in his designs.

He IS into the feathered sleeves. And now I see where Meredith got that weird mask form last season!

Next up, let’s do Jen. Who was also a NOT !!

I thought maybe hers was from the same designer? But it was not.

Another feather happy designer: Jean-Louis Sabaji  . I get it, feathers are “in” but this just seems like a lot. You CAN have too much of a good thing. And the chandelier style crystal beads hanging from it, didn’t help matters much. So glad she was forced to remove the stupid gloves, also embellished with the chandelier-style beads, due to sound issues. It seems like these ladies were trying to have the worst looks in Housewife history.

Whitney — NOT! – whose fashion sense I usually do admire. I like the deep forest green, and that’s it.

The “one glove” thing, even though I do like gloves, hate it. And what is with the placement of her gloved hand on her body like that? In her official pic, doesn’t it look like a huge lizard has hold of her left side? It won’t go into a lot of detail, but it just looks cheap and tacky. Looks like tangled yarn draping over her left shoulder too.

At least she knew not to do over the top ridiculous hair extensions for this already gaudy look. But not sure I’m loving the slicked back look either. I like her shoes though. Very tasteful, unlike Lisa’s and Jennie’s stripper heels.

Lisa Barlow – Also NOT !!

Again cheap and tacky. It looks like that cellophane gift wrap. It also seems like the length is off too. Like it needed hemmed an inch or two. The bottom of the dress is almost touching the top of her strappy sandals. And speaking of the sandals ? Where are these from? ShoeDazzle ?? The iridescent rainbow is too much to be paired with the iridescent dress, and just cheapens it even more.

Jennie – NOT !!! As with Whitney, I usually liked what she wore on the show. But what the hell is this ? It literally looks like they all got their dresses in a bargain basement somewhere, or wore these as dares.

The color is cute but what the fuck? They style does not suit her body at all! I hate to keep repeating myself with the cheap thing, but it’s just not at all elegant and tasteful. And the shoes ? She chooses these six inch platformed stripper heels for some reason that she literally CANNOT walk in?

Heather – my only HOT pick !! And it’s not so much that her dress blew my socks off, it’s more that it was normal, flattering acceptable and appropriate.

I know there has been a lot of commentary about these dresses. And none of it has been good. Sorry I’m getting to finishing this up really late !!
