So we wrapped up last seek with Fraser being so completely over the top about Barbie’s behavior, and tattling to Kerry. She was a little pissy with him, so what. He’s sort of playing favorites, and for some reason favoring the one that’s not the least experienced, biggest whiner, and slowest stew.
Thank goodness Kerry sees this, and is mature, and when Fraser is forced to tell him that she’s an excellent stew, he encourages him to get out of his feelings, and deal with it.
It seemed like such a petty bitch move to run to the Captain. It’s Fraser’s job to handle his stews. Not Kerry’s. Kerry’s job is to drive the yacht, not worry about Barbie making a pissy comment or two.
“Yes” he answers to like six questions of Kerry asking him if she does an overall good job. Is he feeling dumb right now?

The vow renewal/wedding ceremony is taking place today, and while the set-up is happening, Kerry is sweating his responsibilities of handling the ceremony. He seems excited about it, unlike Captain Lee who was being a being a big old grumpy about it when he was asked. I don’t hate Captain Lee, I just think sometimes he needed to chill the hell out. Yes, we know you’re the Captain.
I hate so much that Sunny threw herself at stupid ass Ben. She totally gave him the upper hand and, sort of dominance, by sending him the ‘can you come for a kiss’ note.
Girl, you wait for the guy to do that to you. That shit went straight to his head. It comes off as desperate, when you’re a girl and do that shit. I can’t explain it. It just does. I don’t make the rules.
Kyle and Jared are both after Barbie. Jared’s hair bugs me. Why is it so poofy on the top and in the back. That shit needs cut and layered.
Fraser keeps whining about Barbie. You know, if she’s not respecting you, Fraser, maybe it’s your management skills. Did you all see her on WWHL this week? She was all about the accolades and love for Fraser. It would appear they kissed and made up, or she was trying to throw us off. There have been murmurings that she doesn’t complete the season, and that there’s a lot of turnover. I’m sad they didn’t bring Hayley back. Maybe once was enough for her.
The things Fraser is saying to Jared about Barbie are just – vile. He’s the one being vile in my opinion, not her. It’s starting to seem personal. Like, what is going on? And should he be telling Jared all of this? Seems a little unprofessional and kind of comes off as gossip. I’m feeling kind of disappointed in Fraser. Is he mad he’s not Hot Brunette Barbie??
She vents to her mom, and implies she’s considering leaving.
Sunny confronts Ben about radioing that she wasn’t wearing a life jacket on the jet ski.
Does she not realize that he was trying to make Jared look bad, not her??
It ended up backfiring, really, because Jared was in the process of handling it when Ben put it on the radio, and everyone heard him sounding like he was desperate to get brownie points form the captain.
He admits that be was trying to fuck with Jared, and apologizes. At least he admitted to what he was doing, and said sorry. That was big of him. Still makes him look like a little bitch for doing it in the first place. If he were smarter he would’ve said he was concerned about her safety. Dumb ass.
These guests are cool, but kind of basic. I’m surprised they didn’t get more dressed up for the ceremony. Especially the couple that’s getting married. They could have done something cute/casual. Maybe a white dress?
I’m being a little shady about their wardrobes, and they’re not the best looking crew, but they all seem like really cute and happy couples, with dudes that wait for it wait for IT, seem kind of – normal??? Whaaaaaaaaatttt?????
Kerry seems like he has a really cool sense of humor, and made the ceremony fun.
Barbie doesn’t seem to me like she takes herself too terribly seriously, and has a decent sense of humor, as she’s goofing around with Jared and Fraser, and being flirty with Jared.
Frenchy’s story about his wife is HEARTBREAKING. She went off with his uncle on a yacht where she was a chief stew, and he was a captain?? So now he’s in a relationship with his cat. I love that.
I can’t get over how all of these couples seem to really like each other. The dudes talk to their wives so nicely and respectfully. They really know how to look out for their ladies! You know, like decent upstanding dudes that aren’t skitzo. You know, this isn’t really complicated. It’s really not.

Fraser wants to have Cat on service. It might be to give her a chance to learn, or it might be to annoy Barbie, which is obviously not professional.
But to be fair, these would be the guests for an inexperienced stew, since they’re so freaking salt of the earth and easy going.
Kerry, who’s dining with the guests, complains that Cat has not been trained sufficiently for service. That seems to be true, and that would be on Fraser. And I don’t mean to keep dissing him, but I wish he would step it up slightly, and maybe get over himself.

Captain joins the crew for a round.
Jared drinks too much, I guess because he’s upset he couldn’t make his call to his kid due to connectivity issues. Barbie is put off by the sloppiness. So now she’s eyeing Kyle.
Sunny and Ben go off to the beach to talk. I can’t stomach this dude, I really can’t. I was also put off by his treatment of Alissa last season, when he shoved fifty pounds of water bottles on her boobs because he was crying about stupid ass Camille.
Sunny is still pissed at Ben and accuses him of stirring the pot and brings up the radio thing again. He refers to it as ‘cheeky’ and blames it on being ‘Aussie’ and charismatic.
Did the dude just call himself charismatic Who does that? You don’t call yourself that. You wait for other people to call you that, and if they don’t, then you’re not! Does he know what it means? Because he says ‘it’s’ charismatic. IT’S charasmatic to try to make your boss look bad, for the hell of it? That doesn’t even make sense.
Is she making it kind of a big deal though? Yes.
Cat’s whining is getting to be too much. I think she has to be one of the crew that leaves. She tells him she feels “insecure about her personality.” Who says that? It’s such a weird thing to say. And she should be, because she’s coming off as kind of unhinged. I’m trying to take the foster thing into account, but it’s getting weird.
Fraser is not equipped to deal with this. But he’s trying.
Again Fraser screws up with Barbie, because you don’t try to have this professional convo about work when you’re out drinking.
Of course it goes badly. Fraser is bad at communicating what he’s trying to say without sounding like kind of an asshole.
I’ m assuming he’s trying to be the opposite of the pushover he was last season? Whatever he’s doing, it’s not working.
