Below Deck SY – 6/12/23 – Episode 2

Colin is still pissing and moaning over Daisy and Gary banging last year.

It’s just weird.”

It’s not really that weird. Gary bangs all the girls on the boat. He throws her out of his cabin.

Gary and Colin discuss. Colin thinks it’s a ‘dick move’ to not have let him know, when Daisy asked that Gary not tell anyone. That was actually, surprisingly, quite admirable of Gary. Until it wasn’t.

However, didn’t really care that you were making out and motor boating with her.

Colin’s not even thinking straight. That’s not the ‘dick move’ part of this whole thing. What’s the dick move, is that he started moving in on Daisy and love bombing her, with fake fucking praising AS SOON AS she started doing this whatever thing with Colin.

What’s the dick move, is kissing her, groping her, hugging her, right in front of Colin. I couldn’t even believe he was just sitting there and saying nothing on their off day.

And THEN he decides to announce it on camera. He’s doing all of this to drive a wedge between them and sabotage any possibility of them being together. But the dick move, according to Colin, is that he honored (up until now) Daisy’s request to keep it between them. Make it make sense.

And wow – my God, he admits to bringing it up to ‘get back at her’ for asking to keep it secret, due to his precious little ego being bruised.

He’s such a fucking douche. Perhaps THIS is why she asked him to keep it a secret? That’s how you treat someone you’re supposedly professing your love to? I mean, I knew it was all bullshit, but wow, I didn’t expect him to sit here admit it.

So basically he’s admitting that this whole fucking charade, he’s doing, pretending to be so into her, is to get ‘back at her.’

Gary, being so serious, tells Mads about him and Daisy, and she does not give two shits. He plays off that he’s so glad she doesn’t care, and does this loud overcompensating laugh.

Colin is still bothered as he discusses it with Daisy, and says he doesn’t want to be part of it. So I guess the boatmance is off for the time being.

The news is spreading like wildfire on the boat. Mads fill in Alex and Lucy, Gary fills in Chase.

Everyone agrees they’re all three over the top dramatic.

Now Gary enters phase three of his plan, to come between them, and tries to convince Daisy that Colin must not really care about her, if he’s so pissed over this. This dude is unfucking believeable.

Daisy brings up to Gary, how he’s sleeping with her roommate, one of her stews, and Gary claims he can have feelings for two people. She admits in her yap she knows he’s only concerned for himself.

Then why does she keep entertaining him, and listening to his whining and complaining.

I’m not sure how she’s going to be able to do her actual JOB, when she’s running around the boat seemingly into this love triangle, and how she has two dudes into her. But does she? Gary’s not really into her at all. He’s a selfish bastard that’s pissed he’s not the center of attention.

She and Gary talk again, and SHE’S apologizing and saying SHE caused all of this??

What? Is Daisy this not smart? Glenn’s rattle snake joke did go right over her head.

Okay, so these guys are going to have to drop all of their love triangle theatrics, and actually do their job, because the new round of guests arrive.

There’s more boat issues, and Colin bites Gary’s head off for being all dramatic in letting him know the boat might be on fire, when he sees smoke. Again, Colin seems to be annoyed at Gary, for everything except what he really should be pissed at him about. Intentionally sabotaging him trying to get with Daisy, because it’s less attention that he’s getting.

Chase seems to be making up for Colin’s shitty comments to Ileisha, by complimenting her to death. He means well.

I guess we’re forgetting about the guests for a minute. A guest requests a pinacolada from Gary, and he radios with no response, and can’t find any of the three stews to make the woman a drink.

Daisy emerges from whatever she was doing, and I guess she doesn’t think she needs her radio. She’s just the chief stew.

Gary again, sucking up to Mads, and telling her that he has ‘feelings’ for her, and just being all freaking middle school and clingy, and actually kind of creepy, because you know he doesn’t even mean it.

Daisy and Gary chat at the beach, and Daisy thinks he should apologize to Colin for ‘lying’ to him. Technically he didn’t lie, if Colin never asked him specifically. Whatever, see above for my thoughts on what he ACTUALLY should be apologizing for. Gary is making himself out to be so virtuous for not breaking his promise to her, which is now a moot point because he told the whole fucking world.

It sort of seems like your intentions are not good

Daisy tells him he’s stirring the pot, which is exactly what he’s doing, and what he admitted to in his yap.

Ileisha, who admitted she wasn’t experienced int this type of cuisine, as usual knocked her Caribbean meal out of the park. Shes every bit as good as Marco, so I don’t even know what would possess Colin to say that ‘next level’ shit to her.

Gary’s being such a dick in his comments to the crew about Colin. What’s Colin even thinking watching this?? I’m guessing they’re no longer friends.

With Daisy’s new complicated love life, she forgot there was a birthday on the boat, and has to hustle to get the decorations going. That freaking cake looks amazing. I wonder what kind it is. It looks like a big old toasted marshmallow.

So now there’s cake drama because Daisy decides to cut the rest of it up, after the guests were served, and let the crew have at it, and then one of the guests asks for another slice, after Daisy assures him that the guests won’t want any more.

Shut up, I want some fucking cake!!

Ileisha kind of seemed like she didn’t want to cut it up for the crew.

Shouldn’t they have kept a few slices aside just in case?

Daisy’s busy swooning over Colin in his cabin, after she inhaled her slice. I guess we wait til next week to see how “oopsies – the crew ate the rest of it” goes over.
