I missed last week’s recap, but I’m baaaaackkkk! I’m still watchin’!
Poor Max. He was just tryin’ to be the ‘cool mom’ by letting the guest drive the tender. Of course said guest had to take advantage of the privilege, and go entirely too fast, so they get noticed being too far out, and Max gets in trouble.
The dude could’ve played it cool, and no one would have noticed.
Is this the same guy that was standing right in Sandy’s view flapping his yap as she was trying to leave the dock? Probably.
She yells at Nate, who could have been out on the dock instead of flirting with Kizzi, however this was hardly his fault. He’s not up these guys’ asses 24/7. He trusts them to make smart decisions.
I thought it was funny last week how Kizzi was complaining that she thought she had all the guys into her and now Nate is her only option. And he doesn’t even like her.
She sort of did a Trashley from Sailing Yacht (although not as brazen and trampy) and made herself too available, where the guys became disinterested.
Nate humors her because she seems so desperate, he feels sorry for her,
You know Sandy yelling at Nate is such shitty management. What’s going to happen now? Nate’s pissed off he got scolded and yelled at like a teenager for something Max did, so he’s going to do the same exact thing to Max. And we know how sensitive Max is.
I don’t agree with Sandy that “pressure makes you better.”
Especially undue pressure. What kind of fucked up management style is that? Pressure stresses you out and can negatively affect your concentration.
Sandy didn’t need to go off like that. I think sometimes she goes bonkers on the deck crew for no reason to prove that she doesn’t just scream at and criticize the stews.
Not sure I’m loving the stew rompers.
And what the hell’s with the pig??
So we got a whole-ass entire pig delivered to the ocean?

Poor guy.
Kizzi whines to Josh feeling like she’s always inside doing the hard work while golden child Cathy gets to mingle with the guests.
I really don’t think she wants to interact with these guests. They’re horrible. Don’t they keep referring to them as their servants?
The dinner as all of Josh’s dinners, went off without a hitch and the guests loved it.
Except for the vegans and that shouldn’t really count. Vegans are idiots and always cranky because they’re starving.
As Kizzi complains about the disgusting cabins, I again feel the need to point out that if I were interacting with the same people cleaning my personal area, I would be damned sure nothing gross was left behind.
Isn’t that common sense? What is wrong with people? Like the dude with the yellow sweat stained sheet the size of his entire body? Strip the sheet off, stupid.
Ordering them to do their stinky laundry the second they got on the boat?
Josh tries to show off for Kizzi and falls on his ass. I think he’s the only one that’s even a little bit into her at this point.
Two of the guys, the older bald guy and the one that thinks he’s so great looking. and one lady chill in the hot tub together after dinner. The dudes are shitfaced.
The latter now is begging Cathy to ‘allow’ him to piss off of the deck.
They run around the boat at 3am blacked out drunk like teenagers who had their first drinks. He drops his glass and it shatters. That’s a good excuse to kick them in their cabins.
Sandy again lectures Nathan about being a ‘boss.’ Sandy shut up. He knows.
Poor Max. He’s so into Cathy and she’s just looking for someone to flirt and hang with.
His mom left the family, then his dad kicked him out. How horrible is that. No wonder he’s so clingy.
So we prepare for a very EXTRA DRAMATIC DOCKING due to the wind and no ‘thruster.’
They manage to make this more hectic than it needed to be. “One wrong move and the season is over.” Okay Sandy Captain Sandy.
What possessed Nate to dye his hair black?

The guests depart.
Max confides in Joe his feelings for Cathy, which of course we see how he is coming on way too strong, and it’s about to blow up.
Sandy always talks to the crew in this weird tone, like she’s in the process of grooming and hypnotizing them, complete with a creepy look on her face. I have noticed she’s a little less creepy, but still fucking creepy.

She pressures him to choose a lead deckhand, which of course we know is done simply to cause tension. He wants Sandy to choose for him and she’s not doing that. She orders him to do in right now.
There’s literally no reason whatsoever to make any of them a ‘lead deckhand’
You can tell Cathy does not feel well, and Max wants to pressure her about this idea that he has that they’re getting married tomorrow and having a kid next week.

He’s totally turning her off with his incoherent rambling, and he’s not picking up on that. Reeeeeeeeaaaad the room.

He’s very intense as Cathy describes him, the complete opposite of her. She’s so polite to him, with the ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ thing. You can see she’s getting some bad vibes.
Cathy takes this opportunity when she feels like shit (sometimes being a bad mood makes it easier to have a tough conversation) to approach Kizzi about her apparent jealousy and feeling inferior to her, since Kizzi made some sort of pissy comment at dinner.
Cathy and Max head back to the boat since she wasn’t feeling well. Probably not good for him to tag along, but he does. I’m not really sure he was picking up on what she was trying to say earlier.
Kizzi and Nate start making out and you can totally see how he’s not into it. So she knows he’s hung up on someone, and she still throws herself at him. She IS starting to give me Trashley on Sailing Yacht vibes. It’s giving desperate actually.
He stops kissing her and wants a cigarette. That’s a bad sign if a dude wants to smoke instead of make out with you. Maybe give it up.

Joe and V are getting annoying. We get it Joe, you’re usually Captain Stud and never get serious with anyone, and “this is all new.”
Back at the boat, Cathy again tries to nicely tell Max to chill out.
He scoffs at her casual “good night” as she leaves for bed, not being good enough and she calls him high maintenance. Love that. He is!
Nate refers to his antics with Kizzi being unfulfilling. That’s brutal. Not what a girl wants to hear.
The one-year anniversary of the death of V’s boyfriend is coming up, which also happens to be her birthday.
I don’t think Joe is as into her as he thinks he is.
