There will be a lot of the F word again. Sandy is just out of fucking control this season. I know it’s a TV show, and we need the ‘drama’ but holy fucking schmokes, should she be sacrificing her integrity, and sacrificing the dignity of her crew, for entertainment and camera time?? The way she speaks to poor Fraser is in such a condescending and demeaning manner is so unprofessional, and does nothing to motivate him and help him with the issues that he’s struggling with.
I get it she’s pissed off about the dick sucking comments she overheard Alissa say, which she shouldn’t have said. (even though it is true, she should have said it lower, or preferably somewhere off the boat where Captain Creeper couldn’t over hear.) She should have addressed it then and there, instead of festering and doing more creeping and lurking around to see if she could hear something else.
That’s playing fucking games. That’s poor leadership. It is. The Sandy people can defend her all day long, and say, “but Fraser didn’t do this, and but Alissa said that” but at the end of the day, (using a cliché phrase I try to avoid) that’s all irrelevant. She should be a better example and a better leader.
And since she’s pissed at Alissa, she has displaced anger, and charges into the galley or pantry or whatever the fuck, and ORDERS AND DEMANDS that someone strip her bed NOW! That’s so fucking degrading. Anyone who thinks this is okay I have zero respect for as a human. Poor Tyler is the one that follows her tyrannical demand, and goes to her cabin and strips her bed. I wish Fraser would have told his stews, right then and there, not to respond to that kind of horrible request, and she can do her own fucking bed, unless she asks nicely. I get on Lee for being abrasive sometimes, but this is just downright gross. She’s fucking gross.
And that “stop talking” thing? Who in the FUUUCK does she think she is? This is why the stews are bad mouthing her behind her back. If she doesn’t give respect, she doesn’t get respect. That’s what I always say. I don’t care it’s a fucking yacht, and there’s hierchy ! We need to stop acting like this stupid boat is the USS Enterprise.
At LEAST she finds a shred, and I mean a teeny shred of decency, and apologizes to Tyler who is in her cabin making her bed like some kind of fucking slave. She starts murmuring mesmerizing accolades to him now, as she has been to Rachel, trying to get this poor kid under her spell now. Which I think will NOT work on him. He already has her pegged as some kind of crazy ass bitch out for blood.
How awkward is this, with the Evil Grinch sitting there at her desk pretending to be doing something as this poor kid strips her bed one foot behind her, that she just screamed at. How very demeaning. Great way to promote a healthy environment there Sandass. Fuck. She starts droning on about the chain of command in her yap. Yes we all know, she’s the Captain. Chain of command or not, you don’t come AT people like that, and then not give them the opportunity to defend themselves. Fraser was merely telling the hag that his team does work hard, and they were having two seconds of banter, when she came charging at them like a fucking barracuda. “STRIP MY BED NOWWWW!!!” What was the big emergency ?? Did she wet the bed?? Shit the bed? what?
Fraser isn’t bright enough I guess to just shut up, and NOT discuss this woman with his crew. She continues to lurk around and eavesdrop on the interior crew, to get more ammo, instead of speaking to them like an adult. At least this is how they’re making the scenes appear in this episode. Every time they bitch about her, they show Sandy as if she’s listening.
Time fot the ladies to depart. They uttered not one complaint about service, at all. Just pointing that out. They try to take Rachel with. She’d probably actually like to go with them, and get away from this very toxic environment this Captain has created.
Tip meeting, and Sandy gives a passive aggressive little speech that the walls are thin, and she can hear everything.
Not only that, but she also lurks around spying on them. That helps in her “hearing everything” endeavors.
She tries to get them excited about playing volleyball for an hour, and honestly only Ben and Tony look enthused. Is it just me or is a competition exactly what they DON’T need right now? Given all of the animosity and hard feelings she has stirred up, with her constant comparisons as to who does more and who does it better. Fraser and Ross look particularly not into playing the game.
She talks in her yap about “finger pointing and back stabbing permeating the boat like a cancer.”
Which is kind of ironic because who has been the main finger pointer and back stabber??
She refers to this as ‘team building’ and brags in her yap about having 10g to spend on team building “in the past when she was on boats” whatever the fuck that means. She names white water rafting and canyoning as some past team building excursions, which are not competitions. For some reason she decides this particular crew desperately needs a little ‘healthy’ competition. Even though she has caused resentment by putting down the interior constantly, and telling them they should be more like the deck crew.
She is acting like a fucking crackhead. Nothing she says makes any sense whatsoever this season.
Fraser the rocket scientist that he is, complains to Alissa about Sandy’s thin walls reprimand right at the very spot where she sits and eavesdrops. I mean okay she didn’t point out where she sits and eavesdrops, but if this desk area is right around the corner from that pantry area, shouldn’t he have been able to perhaps, figure it out?? And on all of the social media chatter, Fraser is getting heat for not being very professional or smart, in venting to Alissa about the Captain. Sandy is getting plenty of heat herself for her bullying behavior. I would say the majority is going to bat for Fraser.
It really does seem like she has something personal against him. Do gay women not like gay guys? That’s what I’m wondering. Her animosity seems personal.
Fraser hurt his foot, I didn’t catch what he did to it. He calls to have it looked at. Did he not watch the season with Malia as Bosun, and the dude that tried to do a back flip into the hot tub and fucked up his back? They didn’t report it to Sandy and she went OFF on Malia. Malia, who she had a crush on and never ever reprimanded her. So anywho, apparently Fraser says nothing to Sandy about this. He probably should have. Especially with this volleyball thing. When she brought that up at the meeting, wouldn’t it have made sense for him to mention that? The medic person suggests he not play. Again, I HATE to say Sandy was right, but she might have had a point in being annoyed when he announced it at the beach, as they were getting ready to play. But still not supporting the way she belittled him in front of his peers, again.
Alissa is exhausted and goes to bed. Sandy tells Fraser she must participate, so her wakes her up.
Sandy needed to let everyone know it was mandatory. So at this point, when Fraser sees Sandy is adamant about everyone participating, why wouldn’t he see the need to let her know about his foot? He walked himself right into this one.
Sandy still at her disingenuous love bombing compliments to Rachel, to keep her as her spy and picking on Fraser, asks her to be the coach. “You’re good at seeing the big picture, so many people can’t see the big picture.” Rachel, sadly, seems so sincere and flattered: “Thank you.”
She has to be seeing through this. Sandy is actually coming across kind of creepy. Is she not as smart as what I thought, or is she literally brainwashed by this woman? Real question.
I honestly think Sandy just called this volleyball game, because she’s fucking bored. She’s such a dick.
Why does she keep saying “boats she ran?” I guess this was before she was a captain. Was she some sort of activity organizer? And why isn’t she playing?
I know I keep saying this, but putting the two departments against each other, not only is not ‘Team Building’ it’s so completely unfair as far as abilities.
Deck Team has three dudes, two of them are very athletic. Ross doesn’t exactly strike me as athletic, but we’ll see. Interior is two gay guys and two chicks. And I’m not saying girls and gay guys can’t be athletic, I’m just saying this seems very lopsided.
Ben and Tony should have been split up, and had one on each team. To me, also mixing up the teams seems to be more of a teamwork exercise, to show how different departments can all work together. Like in boat life, it doesn’t matter who has what title. You do what needs to be done. You know, “all hands on deck.” Like how Ben helps Rachel in the kitchen for dinner service, for example.
Rachel is the coach, and not big into sports with balls. I guess this means she’s not playing. Fraser now finally spills the bad news about his foot. I feel like maybe he could have put sneakers on? Whatever. We immediately get the Sandy yap-bitching and Fraser-dissing. I need this game to be over. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be excruciating to watch. Ross says he has no idea what the rules are. Guess my non athletic assessment was correct.
Well it definitely was excruciating. 6 – 0 was the final.
Sandy now takes another opportunity to humiliate Fraser in front of his peers, this is #3 but who’s counting? She gets everyone together after the game and says “the whole point of this was to have Fraser leading his team. (which he does, all day, every day) but since Fraser couldn’t participate it’s kind of a moot point.” Sandy, this whole fucking thing is a moot point. Also, I have an idea. Why didn’t she have Fraser coach when she learned of his foot, and Rachel play?? Isn’t Rachel part of the team ?
Sandy gets all dramatic about it while Fraser looks like he wants to crawl under a rock. I think Katie and Hayley who are standing with him, feel really bad for him. They look at Sandy like she’s insane. We’re all looking at Sandy like she’s insane.
She gets even more dramatic in her yap, that it’s all over his face he doesn’t want to be and here, and says what a terrible job she’s doing.
Hayley tells Fraser she has noticed the digs in front of people and digs over the radio indicate some sort of take down. Fraser, having no idea that Rachel is Sandy’s fucking suckup and mole, complains about these constant humiliations, and mind-controlled Rachel immediately defends her master.
Hey – do any of you remember when Eddie complained about Rachel getting inebriated every time they were out, and Rachel had a such a tantrum and refused to speak to him?? and it even carried into the next season, and she had a pissy little tude every time Eddie tried to talk to her? Does Rachel just hope we all forget that? She sure as hell didn’t take criticism well, now did she? And Eddie was right to complain about her! She was acting a fool!! But Fraser is supposed to be all hunky dory about this hag’s constant jabs about every fucking thing he does?? Rachel Rachel Rachel.
Word on the street is she doesn’t show up for the reunion and has officially hung up her Below Deck apron. I think it’s for the best. She is embarrassing herself, and doesn’t need this shit. She needs to get her own cooking show, and lose the childish drama of these boats.
Rachel continues to dutifully defend her master in the van back to the boat. Alissa lets Katie know that Ross is making a fool out of her. Seems to be not going over great. Katie doesn’t even look up from her phone.
Katie seriously thinks because they had sex, “it totally changes the dynamic…” She really said that. Having sex means nothing to dudes. Nothing.
She seems to talk a lot about looking like an idiot, yet for some reason, continues to look like an idiot.
Ross just ordered a pina coloda? For crissakes. These dudes are a buncha pussies. He sweet talks Katie at the table.
He loves discussing this sex addict thing in his yaps, and says something about them being “just her and I.” Followed up by, “and there’s a good chance I’m getting laid tonight.”
He’s so dreamy, such a hopeless romantic. Katie, he’s the one. Don’t let this one go!
Alissa, who just told Katie, it’s Ross that’s always chasing her around, wastes no time approaching him the second he’s alone. He ignores her. Good boy, he’s learning. He then tells Katie he wants to be alone with her in the guest cabin, then she brings up Alissa, and that he’s been staring at her. He storms out.
Katie is pouting the next morning. Fraser radios that when the stews are finished working they can fuck off. Ross vents about Katie.
Just another day on a super yacht.
Sandy’s got her anntennaes up, and sees Alissa and Hayley chillin on the boat, while Tyler was still working. Again, she CHARGES at them and demands to know why Tyler is working and they’re not.
Alissa explains they were done with their tasks, so they’re off the clock.
Condescending Sandy: “you wouldn’t help him finish his?” Hayley starts to jump up to help him, since she ya know, has sufficiently made them feel like shit for taking a break. My God this woman needs to get herself something to entertain herself with on the charters. Can someone get her a book or a puzzle? Or a vibrator? Something? Cuz this ain’t it, and it’s not even entertaining.
Alissa defends herself, by saying he’s doing his last thing, and Sandy tells her to stop talking. That’s her line of the season, right? Such a nice way to treat your crew. “Stop talking.”
Especially when she asked a question, and it’s getting answered. This keeps going on back and forth and it’s just so fucking ridiculous at this point. Sandy is acting like a Housewife. One of the REALLY annoying ones, like Rinna. Literally this lady is just walking around this boat looking for a rumble.
It’s so bizarre.
Alissa continues to explain, and now Sandy is getting in her full-on waving her dick around mode, and demands Alissa go with her to the bridge. Does Sandy not even have the self checking abilities to see that she is getting disrespected, because she is acting disrespectful to the crew? The interior doesn’t respect her. And I don’t blame them.
If she’s this fucking bored, why didn’t SHE offer to help Tyler finish what he needed to do? This is the captain that you know, sweeps floors, lends a hand when needed. These girls bust their ass on this boat and deserve this brief time off, without getting harassed about it. I don’t think Alissa was talking to her that badly. She asked a fucking question, she was getting a fucking answer. Sandy is the one that wanted to keep it going, it seemed to me.
She lays into her about lack of respect and a plane ticket home, no wait, that’s Lee, I mean, “off this boat so fucking fast…” Alissa keeps saying “cool cool” and repeats what she was trying to say before, that they weren’t just leaving Tyler to do all of this work, he had one thing to do yet.
Sandy fucking says, “did it come across that way?” UHHHHHH YEAH!! She’s so fucking sketchy and passive aggressive this season. Did she not want it to come across that way? “Hey you know Tyler is still working?” How the fuck else would that come across?? Alissa tells her, they do all get along and work well together, so this accusation is unfair. Tyler could not be more easygoing, easy to work with, and perfect. Fraser just needs to get in his groove with his leadership role, which I think he would be able to do now, if Sandy wasn’t constantly beating him up for no reason.
They keep showing clips of Tyler still working, now in the laundry, I guess to discredit Alissa.
Whatever, on her way out she calls her “Sandy, Captain Sandy” which was probably on purpose, and I’m here for it. She’s not fucking acting like a Captain!!
She barks for Fraser to come to the bridge so she can pick on him a little bit. She now uses “insubordination” when referring to Alissa. She lays into Fraser, and the bitch is going OFF.
Hands flying everywhere, it’s kind of funny. She calls Fraser the stinking fish or some shit, and he’s the cancer, and the worst experience she’s ever had with a chief stew. whatever. She’s into this cancer analogy. If the fish stinks from the head, she’s technically the head of the boat, so maybe she’s the sticking fish. Fraser apologizes and says this is a learning curve, and says he’s sorry he contributed to gossiping about her. She should have probably shared her meeting with Alissa with him, no?
Alissa later starts to fill him in, and he should be shutting her down, based on his discussion with Sandy, that she doesn’t want to hear them talking about her anymore. He does end up telling that sort of.
Fraser is upset about the cancer reference, since his dad died of cancer. He vows to do better. They keep showing Sandy up in the bridge seething and pacing.
They flash to Alissa’s scenes when she was snarky and bitching about Sandy. She tells Hayley she had a dream she got fired, and should she apologize?
Poor Hayley again the sounding board for the bitching.
Sandy calls Ross up to be a ‘witness.’ Not sure why she didn’t let Fraser in on the firing, or have him as a witness instead of Ross. And Camille didn’t have a ‘witness.’
It really was the “yes Sandy” thing that was the nail in the coffin.
