Welcome to my new Bold Blog for bantering about Bravo shows my fellow Bravo Buffs! I’m Renee by day, Bravo Reality Reviewer by night!
I began with my addiction accidentally “flicking around” one night while folding laundry, and landing on a Real Housewives of NYC episode, around ten years ago. I recall it being the episode where Bethenny was having relationship struggles with “The First Jason.”
I quickly began to tune in weekly to catch the Big Apple ladies and their day to day “problems” and shenanigans. From Luann’s non-stop snooty comments, to Alex’s desperation to fit in, I was hooked, and it quickly became an avenue to shut my mind off (no thinking required!) and decompress after a long day! I was never a fan of those tear jerking, sometimes emotionally jarring prime-time weekly dramas, popular of that time, like Law & Order and the like. Cop and robber, and graphic medical scenes that seemed all the rage at that time, totally not my thing. This was just the ticket !
I just could NOT wait until BravO’Clock every night !
So fast forward to today and I am addicted to almost all of the Bravo Reality Shows, the Real Housewives especially, (but I do love me some Shahs and Summer House!) and have been thinking about starting a blog to voice my opinions and viewpoints weekly on each episode for a while now, as well, as hearing other Bravo Buffs’ fun feedback!
My blog will be based on my point of view of the highlights on each show, immediately following the episodes. You’ll be getting my raw, unfiltered (let me apologize in advance) and candid thoughts fresh after the endings! With opportunities for readers to chime in too! I just cannot think of anything more thrilling!
