So the skinny-dipping issue, I think for Kyle may have seen she was the only one that took her clothes off. And it’s quite clear they don’t have sex anymore at all, and she’s ripping her clothes off for other guys. It was weird, and probably not appropriate, however is he an angel? No he’s not. Typical guy rationale.
Not too many husbands would be okay with that.
But whatever. They get mad at each other for anything and everything. It’s kind of like a moot point anymore.
I like the new girls. They seem fun and mostly normal. I’m already over KJ and the ‘anxious’ thing, but he seems like a nice guy.
They head out to the club. I think even Ciara and Amanda are going.
As Carl announces he’ll drive, I felt proud of him for staying sober for so long. It cannot be easy staying in this house for two months around all of this alcohol and drunk people, and not drinking.
Kyle vents to West and KJ about Amanda. We learn she’s been hitting the magic plant every night and becoming more and more unmotivated.
Pretty sure Ciara is hitting the weed too. She was on WWHL completely stoned last year. Between the prozac and weed, those two are in la-la land constantly.
Kyle and Amanda walk around throwing each other under the bus constantly. Should Kyle really be bitching about her smoking weed every night when he drinks every night?
Amanda can immediately tell with his body language that he’s bitching about her. I don’t think she overheard anything because he got forewarned, but I’m sure she knows the context.
It’s been like this since Day 1. He complains she’s lazy, and she complains he goes out and drinks too much. Neither one of them seem to make an effort to change. Last summer Kyle seemed to, but I guess that didn’t last.
Amanda plays dumb as to what he may have been conveying, and demands to know.
So he’s not honest about what he was telling them. He was bitching she smokes pot and is a slob, but he tells her that she seems disinterested in him, which she is. She tells him he exaggerates.
This is the exact same convo from maybe two seasons ago, when he told her at the beach ‘it’s lonely as hell being married to her because she’s anti-social.’
Now, LAST summer I recall they actually got along. I think the season ended with me pointing out they got in not one fight.
Maybe she ws in a better mood because she was pretending she was a swimwear designer. I also think she had just started a medication that was working for her depression.
She kept saying it was ‘empowering’ to be on a meds that were helpful. I was thinking whatever it takes because we are sick of the constant bickering.
Also, last summer, Kyle was not staying out late. Remember he was super proud of himself when he came home at midnight. I was like, ‘great! I love this! They’re meeting in the middle.’
They had fun a the wedding in Italy, (didn’t know Amanda met another guy) they had fun going out a night or two! It was awesome!
Now wah-wah-wah. I don’t think it was just for the cameras, because these two usually are pretty real. I think they were actually in sync. There were some issues as to whether or not they wanted kids or not, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. Right?? If you don’t believe me look back at my recaps.
Amanda keeps telling him she doesn’t know how he feels when we’ve witnessed him telling her year after year.
Having said that, people can’t change their entire personalities.
Amanda is a lot more laid back, and not overly-affectionate. She doesn’t need paid attention to, and validated every ten minutes, and Kyle is the opposite.
“We’ll talk about this later.” Which they never do.
Ciara doesn’t help matters at all. “Did he just storm off?”
No Ciara, Amanda told him she didn’t want to talk about it, and he walked away. She constantly adds fuel to the fire. She did this with Paige last year too. How about encouraging her to go and talk to him?
Ciara and Amanda crawling in bed with Jesse every morning is so weird.
So Ciara’s not put off at all that Jesse doesn’t want to date her or take her home to mom, but is okay being extra flirty and rubbing up against her in bed like a dog?
Hopefully he at least got up and brushed his teeth.
Ciara sounds like she’s five talking about the animals at the party incessantly.
I feel like she expects so little out of men, and gets too enthusiastic when they deliver on these low expectations.
The theme was a country carnival, that’s why the creatures were there, not so much because she’s obsessed with barnyard animals.
She seems like she’s happy with crumbs for some reason.
It’s funny to me they can’t keep their stuff there all week, but perhaps the house gets rented throughout the week.
Also believe me, I’m a heavy packer, but they bring A LOT of luggage for two nights. Two huge suitcases for two nights even puts me to shame.

Just when you thought maybe Lindsay would bow out since she has a baby now, she’s not. Are we calling her a ‘friend’ as on Housewives?
And she hasn’t stopped drinking. She orders her beverage ‘extra strong.’
I honestly never heard of a Hugo Spritz. I looked it up and it’s a ‘low alcohol’ beverage made with Prosescco and St-Germain.
I don’t believe her when she says she doesn’t get out often.
I guess it’s nice to see all of the girls getting along.
Kyle literally trauma dumping on Amanda’s friends about her is bizarre. He does this I assume, knowing full well they will report to her. I guess this is their form of communication since they can’t talk to each other.
It’s such a huge conflict of interest. He did that with Paige too constantly.
They act like it’s so normal and it’s definitely not.
You have to be nuts not to see the irony in Amanda’s point that she’s always begged him and been bothered about the drinking and staying out late. So what does he do? “I think I’ll be a DJ every weekend.”
So Kyle can whine all day long Amanda isn’t listening to his gripes or changing, but neither is he.
And this bit about staying over at a fan’s apartment after a gig? Like WHAT?
How does he even defend that?
He trauma dumps on poor Carl now. We learn that Loverboy is still not doing well, and he stopped drawing a paycheck, so that’s really why he started DJing supposedly. Does anyone wonder if he wasn’t such a party boy if it would be profitable? How do you run a business if you’re hungover constantly?
Carl’s face says it all. He’s heard all of this before. He bitches about Amanda, then claims to feel remorseful and guilty about it.
He doesn’t know what to say. What can you say?

New weekend is upon us. Fashion critique time. It’s so hot and humid according to them, why is Amanda wearing this huge heavy denim shirt? Kyle tries to make small talk with her about the new patio furniture and she give him a snarky remark.
She clarifies in her yap that they never talked about what happened at the club in an entire week.
Ciara is bringing a friend. I think that other chick that Ciara hated was also Mia. I assume this is someone different.
I guess my theory is debunked that she hates all other black people. Ciara offers her Jesse’s or West’s room. That’s funny.
Ciara, along with her friend are cooking dinner for the group. Paige would be so disappointed.
Their fighting in front of the group makes everyone feel uncomfortable. I think Amanda’s the main culprit of the awkwardness in front of everyone.
She gets so lippy, and I think Kyle realizes if he gives it back to her, that’s going to make him look worse.
So he just bitches behind her back.
Ciara chats with KJ. He seems like a really sweet guy, and he’s not pink, so of course she doesn’t like him.
I’m glad they did this scene of them talking about growing up. Ciara doesn’t really share that much. What do we know about her really except she was a nurse for five minutes and she thinks she’s a model.
I love what she said about her mom and appreciating she was a single mom and “trying to keep the lights on” and maybe couldn’t have been present as much as she would have liked.
I wasn’t a single mom until my younger was a teen, but I may as well have been. My ex-husband was barely involved, barely spent time with them, never home, cheating on my with like 42 women throughout our entire marriage, made we work a full time stressful job so he had the extra money to spend on his haggered ho’s.
That’s a sick feeling. My kids communicate resentment to me because they think I wasn’t around enough or emotionally available, when I was constantly running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to do everything, while working a 40 hour plus workweek while he was traveling the country living his best life. putting his dick in every bitch that said hello.
I mean really. How that pig sleeps at night I literally don’t get. I mean if working to give your husband the funds for traveling, dating and gift-giving for his extra cirricular sex life, and missing out on time with your kids and causing so much more stress than necessary isn’t a slap in the face, more than a slap in the face how about a whole fucking body slam, I don’t know what is.
He doesn’t care. He’s living like a baller in his shit stained house, constantly bashing me and his kids, with one of the hags he was banging while we were married, giving zero fucks whatsoever about the chaos he created, and the lives he ruined with his seedy illicit bullshit.
Also by the way he was extremely abusive, making me always distraught and feeling defeated, and definitely not the best version of myself.
Back to this, West gives a jealous hairy eyeball look at KJ love bombing Ciara and calling her ‘resilient.’ I think they were at the Superbowl together.

We’re assembling for our alfresco Italian dinner made by Mia and Ciara. Mostly Mia, I think.
Kyle I guess is already buzzing and as they sit down he makes a toast and it would have been nice if he would have stopped there, but, he didn’t.
Everyone is hungry, understandably, looks like it’s like 9pm at least, and inhaling their food as Kyle, with zero ‘read the room’ skills begins awkwardly rambling about his marriage troubles.
Ciara snickers and mutters to Amanda, which pisses him off. She is kind of right. It’s not the time or place. And the group gets it. They’re not getting along. It’s nothing new.
Amanda commiserates with Ciara, then sort of tells him to shut up.
He has a temper tantrum, and storms from the table.
