Southern Charm Reunion Part 1 – 1/11//24

Just a few thoughts before I do my official recap.

The first thing I noticed is that Olivia looks really gaunt, and beyond bothered the whole time. She was fidgeting around, making bizarre faces, rolling her eyes, and barely said a word.

And she IS doing the Taylor/Austen thing TO DEATH. And then did you see the preview??

She admits she’s been hanging out, and even went on a trip with him?? She makes NO fucking sense.

Something looks different about Taylor’s face. Did she get like a nose job, or fillers? Something was different. Maybe she just put on a couple pounds and her face is fuller.

That was SO fucking shitty of Leva to say to Taylor “I don’t want to throw you under the bus or anything… ” then she proceeds to throw her under the bus. True, Taylor was not divulging all of the deets on her messages to Whitney, since it was probably embarrassing.

Then Leva – “I read the whole thread.” She shares some questionable things that Taylor said.

Okay Leva. You’re jealous and bored. Taylor is single, Whitney is single, what’s the big deal. And I don’t think Whitney has any fucking ‘girlfriend’ for crissakes.

Like why is she even here??? She’s part-time cast. She should be like a ‘friend’ on Housewives and be present for like ten minutes, say three words, then leave. And it’s shitty of Whitney to be fucking showing everyone the messages. He knew it would embarrass her. It wasn’t her finest moment. Alot of women go through a slutty stage at some point. I kind of think you need to.

And I don’t get why Whitney is not on the reunions. He IS part of the cast. He was involved in the Taylor drama. He’s on almost every episode. Last season he was banging NaHOmie, and was a very integral part of the drama.

I was wondering why Shep’s attitude towards Taylor had changed. He seemed like he was half saying he wanted to get back together. Than towards the end, when it was brought up she was seeing someone, I was like —- OHHH. Makes perfect sense. SO TYPICAL.

And his little speech. What the hell was that? Pretending again to recognize his heavy drinking and getting blacked out and acting like a fool, is a huge problem??

I kept waiting for the point. Like the punchline in a joke. Is he leaving the show (where I thought he was going, honestly) getting sober?

No. Just whining he knows he drinks way too much, and he’s doing it to overcompensate for not having a job, or interests, or a passion, or a girlfriend, or anything.
