They convene in the morning before heading to the studio, discussing the current chain of events.
Brittany tries to joke around and commiserate with Laurence, and asks her how it feels to have the ‘triple crown.’ Which of course, falls flat. “It’s not a crown” Laurence snaps.
Chill lady, it was a joke, and a compliment. We know there was no actual crown.
This woman has no sense of humor, and is so fucking unpleasant and salty. She can’t even engage in a normal conversation.
I know, it’s just her personality. Well whatever, her personality sucks.
I love Brittany’s top. I love her style all together, and she’s so down to earth, positive and upbeat. I don’t see her winning, but I think it’s great she’s made it this far!
They get briefed on their new assignment, which is ‘male peacocking’ meaning of course loud and flamboyant. But still chic.
Winner gets 5g’s. Not bad.
Laurence has no clue what it means. I’m not familiar with the phrase either, but it’s pretty easy to figure out what it means.
I have noticed that men’s suits have gotten a lot more colorful, and with a lot more patterns and textures. The Bravoleb dudes love to wear them, especially at the reunions.
But pretty sure they’re expected to take it even beyond that.
Most of the designers do mainly women’s clothing. I don’t get designing for men. Who cares what they wear.
Just kidding, mostly.
30 minutes to sketch, 30 minutes to shop. Insane.
I’m feeling renaissance era with Laurence’s kilt and vest idea. Not sexy.
I love Christian’s and Rami’s rapport together.
Rami is also going for a dress type of aesthetic. Wouldn’t be my choice, but I’m not a fashion designer.
It is supposed to be *****
Brittany is apparently still traumatized, after getting eliminated for a bad menswear design in her season, which I did not watch, as I mentioned. I only watched Christian’s season, and last season. But every time they play the clip, I don’t think it’s that bad, and wow the judges were merciless.
“A douchey Hamptons party?”
Elaine is an asshole.
They shouldn’t be destroying people’s morale like that.
Brittany should’ve said, “well you would know.” That’s so inappropriate to speak to a contestant like that in a competition format. You can kind of compare it to a sporting event, sort of kind of, it’s a competition. When the losing team exits the field and gets stopped by a reporter, do you ever hear them say “Wow, you really sucked ASS today, what what were you thinking?”
No you don’t, because that is bad sportsmanship and a destroyer of people’s spirit. That was my rant for the day.
She feels better for this men’s challenge since Colin was her client in the Below Deck challenge, and she rocked it.
Personally, I’m not feeling what she’s doing for menswear. Looking at it so far, I think it’s a bit too feminine. But I like it. I would wear that blouse.
I was glad to see Laurence joking around with Christian about her ‘bullet proof vest.’ See she CAN smile and laugh. She seems to not like Brittany very much.
Prajje’s design concerns me. But we’ll see. I’m not really as good as the predictions, as I was last season. I was on a roll with all of my faves, almost always being the judges’ picks. Christian thinks he’s doing too much, and it’s going to look too convoluted.
Western vibe for Bishme. Again, not my thing, but the assignment is to think outside the box.
So never knew Brittany was married. She’s never mentioned him? I assumed she was single. I was thinking why has no guy snapped her up. She’s so cute and bubbly. He seems very sweet and supportive, as she calls to tell him she’s in the final five.

Models in 30.
The models are cute, but they’re models, so they’re tall, they’re buff. It’s not like they’re short with flabby arms and hairy backs.
Christian has Laurence laughing, AGAIN!! He cracks a joke about her telling her model he can keep his pants on.
She looks so much prettier when she laughs!
Bishme pokes his dude with a pin, and then there’s a blood situation, which does get resolved. Prajje suggests hydrogen peroxide, which I would think would discolor the fabric, but seemed to work.
Christian thinks Laurence’s look need a shirt and is too casual for a red carpet look. I’m not sure she really understood the ‘peacock’ thing honestly.
He harasses Brittany and accuses her of ‘not caring.’ Then says he’s joking. I think he means well, but sometimes he does not really come off that way.
Christian and Prajje seem to have a little bit of a ‘love interest’ or is that just me? Their banter seems a little you know, jabbing each other in a flirty playful way. If they’re both single, I say why not?
Rami’s childhood flashbacks are so cute. He tried to suggest to his Grandmother to wear brighter colors, instead of all black. That would be so me.

EOD and time for much-needed refreshments.
Laurence has her some bartending skills. I can’t picture her as a bartender, due to her unpersonable-ness. Maybe in a really bougee place where her seriousness is the vibe.
“Getting people drunk, it’s an art.”

It’s runway day, and the boys arrive.
Laurence decides to ditch the blouse, that Christian suggested. I think the blouse would have possibly helped with the ‘peacock’ effect that it needed, but she’s just not feeling it. So off it goes.
These are artists, so they’re more inclined to go with their gut, however they need to remember that this is a competition, and they need to follow the rules and criteria.
And true to form, I love Brittany’s top for the runway show. I need to look into whether or not, she’s wearing her own designs.
Christian encourages her to add the bow to her blouse. I’m still not feeling this for a dude, but I get that the assignment was to be risky, and not afraid to make their looks too feminine.
“If they hate it you can blame it on me.”
I actually think a designer did do that last season, and it didn’t go over too well. She got accused of ‘deflecting.’ I was thinking, well he is on here as a mentor, so if they follow his bad advice, it is kind of on him.
Prajje shades Brittany’s design, however Christian has been very encouraging of her to follow her vision. He has the Korto syndrome. Worry about your own design dude. “See you next time” he says in his yap, and compares her pants to Korto’s, that got her sent packing. He’s forgetting the part, though, that this challenge is to be flashy and eccentric
Laurence shades all of the designs. None of them are ‘working for her.’ These comments are not going to age well. I feel like Christian as I wrote that. I can just hear him in his best scolding/condescending voice “these comments are not going toage welllllllll.”
And these are the two designs whose looks he was concerned about. Just saying. Maybe that’s why they aired their shady comments.

Runway time! YAY! Only a few more to go! Elaine says there’s never been a ‘red carpet’ menswear challenge on Project Runway. I 6assumed the tuxedo challenge that has traumatized poor Brittany for three years was a menswear challenge.
I wish I would have been watching more than just last season, so I was more familiar with the contestants. I’m on some FaceBook chats, and apparently Korto’s exit behavior was quite on brand.
There was one person who said “that’s not like her” but all of the other commenters seemed to agree this was her pattern in her other two appearances.

Here we go!
Brittany’s guy, is what I expected, the shiny pants, the big bow, it’s giving me like Colonial era, and just too feminine for a guy, in my opinion.
Rami’s – I’m just going to say, not a fan of this one either. Maybe I’m just not being open-minded enough for these looks, and I’ll go ahead and
Prajje’s design IS a little all over the place as Christian predicted. In his speech during the walk, it sounds like he realizes that. He seems concerned that it’s looking more burgundy as opposed to pink, on the runway, which is probably the least of his problems. It’s giving band uniform.
Laurence’s look is just not ‘red carpet chic’ and I think it’s going to be a problem for her. Although I should add, I do see a dude wearing this on the red carpet. Let’s face it, red carpet looks are usually all over the place, and it’s a venue for expressing yourself, standing out, and not trying to meet any criteria. Like hello, Lady Gaga in the meat dress. The judges’ murmurings tell us they’re going to be trashing it.
They let Brittany off the hook for not observing part of the challenge in the two opposing looks challenge. So I’m just saying, why not keep an open mid with this?
Bishme’s design, I just don’t like anything about it, and let’s leave it at that. He seems happy with it. Little Lone Ranger looking
Rami’s is a fave, which kind of surprised me, but I did say I’m not an aficionado of this type of menswear look, at all.
Bishme’s is a like. They drag Prajje, which I did predict correctly. I feel like his ‘butler’s jacket’ was a good inspiration, but he just had way too much else going on. Oh, and didn’t really look like a butler’s jacket. Judges were not picking up on his voodoo whatever vibe.
Nina hates the copper mesh turtleneck, and doesn’t have any problem saying so.
Brittany’s they like, I just thought it was too feminine. However I’m happy that Brittany is in the ‘like’ crowd.
I literally hate when the judges get on their soapbox about originality and seeing the same genre in each challenge from the designers.
I think it’s so weird, because of course they are going to create similar looks for the challenges.
They all have their schtick, and their specialty, like your average fashionable dresser. You typically don’t see them going goth one day, and lace and girlie the next day. You stick to what you know and like, and what you gravitate towards.
They ‘re not into Laurence’s renn faire look, which I predicted, but also gave it a plug, since I get that it’s fashion, it’s expression, and it’s what she was feeling. She wanted to create an edgy look.
Not sure she really understood the assignment. That’s not necessarily an excuse. She cold have asked, or referred to the Google Gods. Also the midriff baring thing was confusing. Not something dudes usually do.
She followed her inspo, which is a creative kind of mindset. I just hate how they’re making her feel so bad.
To my own detriment a lot, I’m an empath, and I can’t stand to see her standing here covering her face and rubbing her head as if she she did something so wrong and horrible.
Elaine bitches about the shoes, but omg whatever, she didn’t design the shoes so that seems like a stupid dig. Judges are as usual, too harsh.
Elaine, or Nina (same thing) say, “Confused business man who moonlights at an S&M bar.” Which I did look up, and it’s a bargain outlet in LA.
They should lose the analogies. It’s enough to say, it just wasn’t working me for me, isn’t it?? I don’t like it either, but I would expect all of these profesional fashionistas to have a more open mind. They make her continue to defend it.
The model so sweet, he gives her this little touch as he’s told to leave, to let her know, “it’s okay. I got you.” I love that.
I love people that are normal and can display empahthy. I hate people that have none whatsoever, and think it’s fun to toy and fuck with people’s emotions and lives. Like what the fuck?? How do those people even sleep at night? Or maybe they don’t…
Brittany is a sweetie too, she embraces Laurence on the way out, and seems really authentic. I love her spirit.
Winner is Rami. I love him, he’s such an old soul, but I was pulling for Brittany. Has she even won a challenge? I missed the first handful of episodes, so she may have one an earlier one.
Prajje is the chosen one to leave us.
He puts on his big boy panties, a grown ass adults should, and jokes about his design and departure
“You take feedback in stride” was maybe a little shade on Korto, which im not mad at.
He addresses the group and bids them farewell, all with a smile on his face, and not going on a rant about how great his design was, and making everyone feel uncomfortable.
Korto take note. This is how you do it. If you’re not able to be gracious in the event of a loss, then don’t accept an invite on a competition.
Hugs all around. Prajje is a class act and Korto is an ass act, and you can drag me all you want. I don’t care. I said what I said !!
