Part 1 starts off with her delivering one of her wacko ‘sermons’ where she’s telling parishioners shit like they have to come through her to ‘come back.’
I was actually kind of surprised Bravo reintroduced her after the church shut-down and all of the controversy in 2021-2022. Such as telling her congregants she’s God and demanding large sums of money from them. Minor shit like that.
So they have actual previous parishioners telling us what was going on.
They demanded cash and the demanded it by a deadline or you would go to hell.
That’s not a cult at all now is it? Of course it is.
I think that’s why step gramps wanted her to be his wife, and in the new slot of
main shyster because she’s very pretty and charismatic.
A former boyfriend referred to her as a bully when they were kids.

I’m sure we all noticed her ‘rebranding’ of sorts that she’s been trying to do this season and last. She’s not as bitchy and mean as she used to be. Now she’s, dare I say it? Some sort of voice of reason.
How dumb is it to go on a reality show if you’re running a cult and extorting money out of innocent people that go to your ‘church.’
One of the ex-parishi;oners claims she “comes across as a legit pastor.”
Wholeheartedly disagree. Her sermons are nothing but a bunch of rambling nonsense.
Even the scene that they played this season of one of her services, she made no fucking sense. In her yap she reassures us that she doesn’t
pre-plan what she’s going to say during her sermons. I was like, yeah no shit, I can tell.
She’s also not the sharpest tool in the shed you may or may not have noticed.
Viewers began to quickly question their many properties in pricey areas and all of her designer duds she was more than happy to show off in her first season. There was no shame whatsoever.
So when Grandma Rosemary died who ran the church, and unlike Mary seemed like a very business savvy and intelligent woman, not sure if the church was cult-like at that point, she ‘gave’ the church and all of the businesses to Mary and allegedly ‘wanted’ her to marry Robert.
Fucking weird, but it IS Utah. The guy looks like a DUFAS.

My first reaction is, what a perv. This guy knew her as a little girl and now is trying to get with her
I think they’re making this shit up that the grandmother wanted him to marry her. You can tell by his face it’s bullshit. It was ‘kind of’ in her will? What the fuck.

Did you notice we don’t ever see Robert on the show anymore? I’m pretty sure they’re leading completely separate lives, and she wants nothing to do with him.
There is only a twenty year age difference, when you would think it would be more, given he was married to her grandmother, however he was much younger than the grandmother.
Still gross and inappropriate.
They play some clips of Mary explaining how their marriage came to be when the franchise began in 2020, and she does seem to be sensitive about it, and realizes it just looks bad, sounds bad, smells bad… It’s just bad.
And then there was that whole birthday thing with Mary. I do recall hearing about that a few years back. There was leaked audio of her bitching at the church for not showering her with enough cards and monetary gifts.
Like what?? Woman this is supposed to be a church, where I don’t think is the avenue to act like a greedy little see you next Tuesday, complaining about insufficient gifts.
She yelled at them calling them calling them ‘stingy and poor.’ She always includes God in her weird rants. God said they were poor. God said she should have gotten more cash for her birthday.
Which version of Mary is real, is a very valid question.
Enter Denise Jefferson, her sister, who refers to her as a hypocrite and a fraud.

She thinks that Mary agreed to marry a man twenty years older than her at twenty-two years old was 100% money related. I agree with that. I think Mary comes off as pretty shallow and materialistic. Robert Sr probably enticed her with a certain lifestyle he could provide her if she married him.
The main speaker of the documentary is an investigative journalist that got curious and concerned, and did a deep dive into the church a few years back when things started being revealed on the show.
She talked to several of the parishioners, who all confirmed cult vibes and the church being all about money and donations (seemingly to Mary’s closet.) Mary and Robert literally just demanded money non-stop.
How were they permitted to reopen this church last year is what I’m wondering with all of this being out there?
They play the clip of Andy asking Mary at the reunion that year of her screaming at the church for not showering her with enough birthday cash. Mary denies that allegation despite there being audio of it.

She admits to saying these things, however taken out of ‘content.’ Or context. Whichever. How in the HELL could that have been taken out of context, Mary?
You know you’re doing some messed up shit when you’re getting the hairy eyeball form Jen Shah!

The organist dude is interviewed verifying that he was at the ‘service’ the day she complained about the mere ‘fourteen birthday cards.’ He claims he gave her a grand and never even got a ‘thank you.’

Like in what normal world do you gift a minister a fucking grand? True church ministers are NOT demanding money from people. Cult leaders are.
He says she and Robert frequently called ‘emergency meetings’ after the services and demanded money by a certain deadline.
Ushers stood at the doors preventing people from leaving. What??? Like what in the Jim Jones is going on here??
Robert would shame people for not giving enough. Parishioners were even emptying 401(k)’s and losing their homes.
They play more footage of the reunion of Andy questioning her about where her wealth comes from, if not from the church. Andy asks her, does she see how her congregation would be upset seeing her on the show flaunting her designer labels?

They play that disturbing clip of Mary all decked out in her Louis Vuitton telling Whitney and her kids about the girl that was in a car crash from her congregation, where she made a joke at the end of the story saying“wear your seat belt” with a sneer. Whitney and her kids standing there, looking horrified. The poor kids probably had nightmares that night.

The girl’s aunt is one of the speakers on the documentary, She is distraught over watching that clip. I like how they showed who this girl was and talked about her, because Mary really did relay the accident in such a nonchalant and non-empathetic way like her life didn’t matter.
The father is also one of the speakers on the doc (It’s the guy that said he was her boyfriend when they were younger.)
As the minister of the church, she didn’t even reach out nor send condolences to the family. The girl was a twenty-four year old single mom. It’s very sad.
What’s extra disgusting and demented about Mary’s reaction, is the girl killed was a member of the church and loved Mary. What a slap in the face for that family. She even went so far as to tell other members not to help the family after they started a Go Fund Me.
I do recall the season where Whitney was telling the ladies that Mary tells the church that she is God, and they are to worship her.
I did want to add here that I think you have to have a degree in religious studies of some sort to be a minister? Which Mary definitely doesn’t have. I guess when you run your own cult, I mean church, anything goes.
They play some clips from the service that I referred to where they were speaking to her and treating her like they worship her. Why she would be dumb enough to have this scene filmed, I do not know.
I remember that episode airing, and her son looking disapproving, like they were a bunch of maniacs reacting this way towards her.

I was wondering if they would be covering this on Part 1. That Cameron guy that said he was having an affair with Mary, in which Robert, Sr. seemed to approve, because it was going on in their own home right under his nose, in their house from what I had read at that time.
And of course, they also extorted money from her. This was a whole story line on the show in her last season, and like the rest of it, it seemed to get pushed under rug.
Sadly, he had cancer and has passed away. Something tells me Mary REALLY didn’t give a fuck when he died, if she gave none when a young mom died in a fiery car crash.
I mean all of this was played out in Season 2, and we’re acting like it didn’t happen, and laughing along listening to Mary complain about her farts being made fun of.
Like ONLY on Housewives right?
Meredith the fucking emotionless robot, just stands there listening to him looking completely bored and unfazed.

He doesn’t go into great detail, but tells her they are doing some sketchy shit and to be careful. He refers to him and Mary as “being extremely close at one point.”
He passes away shortly after this scene was aired in 2021, after complications from a brain tumor surgery.
I wouldn’t dare say something seems sus with that. He didn’t really seem sickly thin, or unhealthy in that scene. He was worried for his life, he did express. So I’m just saying.
What the fuck is wrong with Meredith, that she will vehemently deny any wrong doing of the other women? It was the same shit with Jen. Is she getting paid off by these bitches to pretend she doesn’t believe any of these accusations have merit?
Who knew that Cameron who was acquainted Lisa, actually suggested Mary for the show? That was some new info. And he did so in hopes she would tell on herself, which she did. He must have also realized she’s not very bright.
There are several pictures of Mary and Cameron shown together, so it seems like they were indeed a couple. I feel like it was authorized by Robert Sr based on my research at this time, in order to swindle more money from this man. I’m not a mathematician but that would make Mary a prostitute.

Cameron is described by his peers as intelligent, deep and loved God. He ended up being really embarrassed by the fact that he fell under Mary’s spell, and didn’t see that they just wanted more money from him.

Apparently he’d been saving up to find a church that was ‘a good fit’ so he could donate to. Now that’s a good guy that loves God. Little did he know he was merely donating to Mary’s closet. Will that help him get into Heaven? I love clothes as much as the next girl, but probably not.
Cameron suddenly disappears from the church after it started to look like he and Mary were having a thing.
Mary’s cousin Dan, confronts him and he admits that they had relations.
Cameron took a second mortgage out to give to ‘the church’ aka Mary. For $300k, after she seduced him. So again not to beat dead horse but ummm — hooker!!
So he passes away and Mary the fucking evil bitch that she is, starts spouting off that he died because he was telling ‘lies’ about her. Ma-am!! WHAT??
Mary and Robert ‘declined to comment’ about any of these allegations.

Well this is where it ends for me, even though it’s showing there are seven or eight minutes left. I’m watching it thorough my cable company on my computer, so not sure why it’s cutting off. If I’m missing the end of it, I’ll try to catch it on TLC when they replay it.
Stay tuned for Part 2!!
