These measurements are approximate, and will make approx 4 drinks in champagne glasses. I got inspired for this cocktail by Sai on New York City, when she mentioned them as she was complaining about Erin’s bad hostessing on Episode 2 of new season. As usual, I added some things of my own for a little extra flair!! I’ve actually never even made these before! And it’s peach season, and there’s a lovely peach orchard minutes from my house which I frequent in the summer.
1 375 ml bottle of Prosecco (approx 13 ounces)
1 – 2 oz Grand Marnier, or other orange liqueur (also can be be omitted)
2 or 3 fresh ripe peaches, pureed in food processor, blender or small chopper (I’m guessing you could use frozen if not available.)
Approx 1/2 cup of Santa Cruz Peach Lemonade (this could be substituted with another juice with peach or peach flavoring, I believe Tropicana makes some fruit juices with peach
Juice of 1 lime.
Mint leaves for garnish
Just puree the peaches with one of the above methods, place in cocktail shaker, and shake with ice and rest of the ingredients, except for Prosecco and mint leaves.
Fill champagne glass up approx halfway (or whatever glass you’re using – I’m not Dorit – not judging) then you’ll add the Prosecco, and garnish with lime wedge or mint leaves. Or nothing. So easy, and special occassion not required!!
Yay! Enjoy! Refreshing and summery!!
