Salt Lake Wild Rose Event- 1/2/22

So I’m going to start off on a slight rant and rating on these infamous camo sequin Louie Vuitton boots, that have become a story line all of their own this season!

I wrote in my blog post, that I almost feel bad for them, they’re probably feeling so abandoned, like no one wants them ! Getting rejected by Mary, then returned by Jennie, after they were (sort of) gifted to her. Well guys, we had a taker on the Jan 2^nd episode !~ Jen, snapped them up ! After being told they were originally meant for her … actually she didn’t even care.

Anyway- I love them, I think they deserve their moment, so they are making my HOT list !!

HOT – Mary’s lunch look on this episode. I like the unexpected emerald green and coral combo with the green glittery boots. I wish I could have gotten a better look at them, but they only showed her walking in for like a second. Being sparkly, they appeal to me! I can’t really make out the pattern though. Wonder if she’ll decide that they hurt her feet, and try to pass them off next season to Jen or Jennie? Or to me maybe ? Are they a 6 or 6.5???

LOVED – HOT – Whitney’s bubble gum pink top and lips. and slicked back hair. I try to match my lips too like this. (I may not always succeed !)

It’s so fun though !

DID NOT LOVE – NOT – Meredith’s weird orange thing? She literally looks like she has two pumpkins attached to her breasts. I appreciate that she is taking some “fashion risks” this season. But she’s failing a lot. Choosing things not flattering, not in her age range, trying too hard. . . I could go on and on.

On to the Wild Rose skin care event we’ve all been waiting for!!… Remember there was a “nude or blush tone” dress code assignment.

NOT – Of course !!!!!– Meredith’s weird lavender feather pants suit thing. — Do I really have to say why, and what all is wrong ? Everything !!! I just don’t want to ever see this again. I appreciate the risks she’s taking, but this looks stupid. Is it just me, or did it seem like she was even walking like a giant bird? It’s like she morphed into an actual bird ??? And is this nude or blush tone ??? Did Whitney scold her for this ??

Where’s Snuffleupagus???

HOT – I was totally loving Mary’s rose gold bodycon dress ! I also loved the Hounds tooth coat! I’m not sure if I would have done them together or not. She did have the coat on for an extensive period of time because, as we know, there was no coat check and she bitched for what seemed like half an hour about this. I had trouble finding a picture of her, after she shed the coat, where she was standing up. Weird when Seth asks if her shoes were Prada right ? Legally Blonde ‘Moment’ anyone ??

HOT – Jennie’s pink sequin dress. I agree with Heather – I loved the red clutch with it.

HOT – Heather’s white/cream sequinned dress. It was a lot like what she wore to the luncheon last week, but I liked it. Heather is a curvy girl, and I’m glad she doesn’t fall into the “black” trap, where she thinks she has to wear black constantly.

HOT – I liked Jen’s also. I had trouble getting a good picture of it because of the wrap. It was poofy and flirty and cute. The style is a lot like Kyle’s from Beverly Hills on the People’s Choice Awards a few months ago. Not sure if you have came across any of those pictures or not. They were floating around. Also same style that Erika wore on a BH episode in bubble gum pink. The only negative thought I would have, is if this style is for the ‘mature’ woman or not. I would probably wear it and not care, but I’m not on TV getting 10,000 pictures taken either.

Lisa’s dress was sort of meh to me. I couldn’t even get a good shot of it. But I didn’t care. It wasn’t horrible, but it was plain for her. maybe she had limited selection in “blush” tones. I would probably have an issue with that too, since I tend to lean towards brighter colors.

HOT- Whitney’s high low bright poofy red/rose dress. I was in love with it. She’s the star of the show so she needed to bring it, and of course, she’s Whitney, and she delivered.

So really, I approved of all of the dresses, except Meredith’s feather Big Bird pants suit, and Lisa’s just lacked any excitement.
